It’s very nice to look at, but it does not move well on different surfaces. It is comfortable and it seems to be light for my husband to get it out of the car. I would not suggest buying the suitcase shown on the website as it is heavier than the chair itself to return. It cost more than the chair. So what we did was donated. I’m keeping this chair because it fits easily in the back of our car. One issue with the chair you must use the side to get on it. The kick stand is fine once your on the chair but as I stated the only way on the chair is from the side.

It is easy to use and (especially considering its lower price) holds up very well. We still have the 1st one and it works very well and is still using the original pair of batteries. -- I replaced the front caster wheels when the bearings failed after years of use. (Could have replaced just the bearings, but it was easier and quite cheap to just replace the wheels.) I also just replaced the adjustable webbing-backed backrest on the seat (using an easily available, inexpensive similar generic wheelchair back). -- Replacement batteries are very expensive (because they are a proprietary design)... however they last and last and last. In fact, the long-lasting aspect of the batteries was a big factor in deciding to go with another Air Hawk instead of another model that uses much much cheaper batteries. My wife goes inside prisons to provide workshops, into medical facilities related to her disability, to indoor and outdoor events, on trains and airplanes (only 50lbs including batteries) and to shop for small quantities and to play bingo. My opinion is that the Air Hawk is one of the best mobility power chairs...and values on the market and has a decent weight capacity. So now with the new one and the easily fixed old one, she has one to carry with her in her van, using a hoist to make it more manageable for her, and one to have handy just inside the garage door for bingo and going to the mobile home park's mail boxes. Saves a lot of loading and unloading! And two of them is around the price of one of the lower-priced huge heavy models that can't easily be taken on trips across the country, put in a taxi, etc. We had mixed feelings when we bought the 1st one. Not so with the 2nd (and I did review many other chairs, looking at price, features, configuration, reviews by others, size/weight/compactness & folding, batteries & how they are mounted. Forgot to mention: these batteries are wonderful...so easy to just slide out to charge in the living room instead of only while on the chair, then slide back in, reconnect the easy-push-in cable plug and ride away...so easy. Nope... not affiliated and not paid or given any discount for these comments. Just happen to appreciate good quality products in a day when planned obsolescence is s.o.p. I'll identify bad products in my reviews in a hot minute. Gladly the Air Hawk is not one of them. -- Southern California USA resident of the high desert Mojave Desert area called Antelope Valley where we operate a nonprofit out of our home. (Our Air Hawk played a huge part in making operation of our nonprofit possible... benefiting literally thousands of people.) I am rarely so pleased with a product. There's no suspension on any of the 4 wheels. Beware that if you operate the chair over ground that's not completely flat, 1-2 wheels will be lifted on the ground and the chair will spin out of control until the both back wheels touch the ground and find traction again.
