We really needed this!!! We have a large bedroom over our two-car garage, and it's very poorly insulated. It's unbearable during our 95-degree Georgia summers. This unit makes all the difference in the world! It was very easy to install and use. It cools the whole room perfectly, which takes the load off the main upstairs A/C unit, resulting in all 3 bedrooms and the bathroom being cool and comfortable! The remote is nice. The controls are easy to use. If you lose the remote, all controls are also on the unit itself. It's a good size - not too bulky. It's a nice "white noise" sound when it's on fan; it's occasionally "buzzy" sounding when it's on A/C mode. About once an hour, it turns off (or all the noises stop), then immediately turns back on. None of this is really bothersome. It would be great if the manufacturer could add an intake filter. Other than that, it's fantastic!

This is a very compact portable unit. The unit is not too noisy and it seems to cool down fast. It can be used as a dehumidifier. It comes with a remote control which is nice. All the parts seem well made. One thing I notice is that the vent where the air comes out you have to open it. I know my other portable AC opens automatically and can oscillate. I don’t consider this bad because you can adjust this where to you want it to blow. While it seemed to be nicely packaged obviously it had been dropped somewhere along the way. There was damage to the top part of the vent but it can still be used. I ran this in my garage to cool it down. It worked great.

I ordered the “Air Choice Portable Air Conditioners, 8000 BTU for Room Up to 350 Sq.Ft, 24H Timer, 3-in-1 Quiet AC Unit with Remote Control & Digital Display, Window Kit Included, Metallic Grey” to review and to use in our Master Bedroom. We like our bedroom really cold at night. Unfortunately, the whole house is on one HVAC unit so when my wife goes to bed before me, I freeze out in the living room. We own and have used a small window unit but I always hated those and have always been curious about a portable unit. This Air Choice model has so much potential but there are a few issues that are worth mentioning. Pros: It does cool the room. It cycles on and off keeping the room relatively close to the set temperature. It does come with everything needed*. Cons: The printed text for the controls that is on the top of the unit is almost impossible to see for me, even in good light and, while there is a remote control, I hate having to find that when I should be able to just use the unit controls. The included window kit is flimsy and basic which caused me to build my own out of plywood. The drain hose and unit draining instructions are a bit confusing and may be unnecessary because we ran this for 24 hours and drained maybe 2 oz. of water out of it. Either it’s not removing humidity or it blows some out with the heat exchange exhaust. It works but I’m not excited about it but it does come as a complete set for someone not as picky as me. 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️– Average to Above Average – At least what you would expect based on the Product Page. Maybe a bit more. A solid product. Recommended. My wife needed an a/c that she could move around in her work shop and this one is ideal. We had tried a smaller one but it struggled during the hottest months. This one is a step up and works much better! She really likes that she can move it from one side of the window to the other to change the air flow of the room which helps with her projects. Seems like a great deal compared to the big box stores and if you need something that is more portable than a window unit then this one should be one to look at.

This is a compact little air conditioner and is doing a good job in my son's room above the garage. It's not terribly loud and moves around well on it's small wheels. I'm not sure if it could handle a giant open room but it works for what we need.

So last year, we had an air issue with our air conditioning. It left us sweating for days as it took a while to get somebody out and get it repaired. This is a solution good enough for our master bedroom so that at least we can sleep at night without cooking. I wouldn’t recommend it for a long-term running as any kind of portable or window unit is deathly to your power bill. But it’s definitely good in a bind or if you have no other options.

Pretty powerful little air conditioner. Definitely quieter than most other air conditioners we have used. Has many settings per usual. Vents out windows. Happy we won't have to put a window unit in our upstairs, which is always awkward. Looking forward to seeing how it runs on hot days. Hoping it cools our entire upstairs. Being that we haven't had warm weather could only give it a trial run. I feel pretty confident it will do the trick though.
