It would be wonderful if they included the technology that would return the vacuum to the same place you put it into the pool, like the Rumba vacuums for your house. It does, always return to a pool wall, which makes it possible to pick it up with the included hook, yet it would be 100% better if it returned to the place it was put into the pool. I purchased the previous generation of this robot pool cleaner back in March of 2021. My use was not for a pool but for my parents' in-ground feature fountain in their backyard. The small size of this robot worked perfectly for their in-ground fountain. I ran the robot weekly to keep their fountain dirt and debris free. The robot worked great and picked up leaves, dirt and bugs. It is extremely easy to use and more importantly, easy to clean! Fast forward approximately 1 year, as I ran the robot as I normally do, I noticed it wasn't moving. Turns out one of the wheels broke off. The vertical stem on top of the wheel that secures to the robot body had broken off, rendering the robot useless and unable to move. I was genuinely disappointed and decided to reach out to Aiper customer service. I described what had happened to the robot and sent a picture of the broken wheel. I didn't have a alot of expectations about getting any help. Honestly, I was expecting the email to go into a black hole and I would never hear back. To my surprise, I got an email reply back first thing Monday morning! (I had emailed them during the weekend.) Cindy was the representative who responded and honestly couldn't have been more helpful or understanding. She got 2 replacement wheels shipped out right away and provided tracking number. It didn't take long for the wheels to arrive and I replaced the one that broke and the robot is up and running once again doing it's thing to keep our fountain clean! Cindy followed up every step of the way, making sure I received the wheels and made sure my robot is functioning properly again before closing out the case. I’ve not even had this vacuum for a year and it has already completely stopped working and had only been used a handful of times. I already had problems with it constantly getting stuck and having to fish it out, but I was making do. Now it won’t turn on, won’t do anything. I’ve tried calling customer service several times just to hear a recording saying the line is busy. I’ve sent emails to them as well and after a week they respond with wanting to send me a part that I will have to replace myself. I’m not about to try to take apart this vacuum to try to replace a part and risk breaking something else in the process. Besides the fact I don’t feel like I should be the one to “fix” it. I emailed them back and explained I wasn’t comfortable trying to fix it myself and ask for another possible solution and in return I’ve been ran in circles since then and getting no where. I’ve been dealing with trying to return this thing now for a little over 2 weeks. I am so completely unhappy with this company and their products. So, if you’re allergic to bull crap don’t buy from this company. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to spend their money here. UPDATE: It has now been a month of trying to get a replacement. They received the one I returned a week ago and they sent a email stating that they were now out of stock on the replacements for my type of vacuum and would be sending me an upgraded model instead. Fine. Great. Since then I have yet to hear anything back. So now they have had mine for a week and after sending emails asking for an update or when the replacement would be sent, I haven’t gotten a single response. I have also tried calling the customer service number again several times and after listening to the press 1 or this or press 2 for that, I get a recording stating all the customer service representatives are busy and to hang on or call back later. Well of course I choose to hang on, just for the call to end up being disconnected every single time. I don’t how some of these other reviewers speak of great customer service because it has been nothing but aggravation and a major headache for me. ... show more

Vacuum only worked a few times. Contacted manufacturer, took about a week and they shipped a replacement. So far it is working but it stops a lot. If your liner is not smooth it will get stuck a lot. When it’s moving it works good. Customer service was very nice.

I was a little sceptical at first, but I’ve used it 3 times now and it works amazingly! We have a 15’ round above ground pool and it cleaned every inch of it. With our old hosed vacuum there were always missed spots and you could still feel some grit on the bottom after it was done. With this vacuum there’s no missed spots and the bottom feels clean to walk on! Super easy set up, easy to use and a snap to clean out. So glad I bought it!! ... show more
