Steady hands and stead pressure gets the job done. Didn't break a single bottle like people were complaining about. I practiced on some old bottles so that I got the feel of how it worked, then did all of my beer without a problem. Works as expected. My biggest complaint is that it seems to get stuck on 1 out of every 5 or so bottles. Not badly but enough to be annoying. Also, if you squeeze I little to hard it leaves a circle dent on your cap. Other than that it is sturdy, I am happy with it.
