Total game changer. My dog and I were just sweltering at night, and it was getting very unpleasant, so I bought this blanket on a whim. Great choice. It's soft, light, and, most importantly, does exactly what it says and keeps us nice and cool all night long. The quality is fine, but after the first wash (with cool water, then hang to dry!!), there's quite a bit of pilling. I have a queen-sized bed and got the queen size; it fits big enough to drape down the sides and get tucked under the mattress if I choose to. The gray color is true to what you see in the listing. Don't let the no-dryer instructions scare you off; the whole blanket dried while hanging in less than two hours for me. This is also great if/when wet and muddy paws find their way onto it...

Okay, so, as a brief aside, at this point I have ordered several other cooling blankets because after trying this one, I thought, wow, I need more of this. I'm gonna stop you there. If what you want is COLD, literally just get this one. Or the grey one. Whatever, get the upgraded one. (Edit: It FEELS like a single layer but is two.) While it doesn't really have a pattern (I mean, it has a sort of diamond thing going on), it really works the best. If you've ever slept with satin, it's like that. It's slippery and thin. There's no padding in this material and that's a good thing for optimal cooling. Now let me explain why I like this thing as much as I do. You know when it's stupid hot and the AC is busted or the electric is out and you have to resort to cold showers to not roast inside your own skin like a baked potato? And there's this great moment, between getting out of the shower and overheating again, during which even hot air feels a bit cool on your skin. That is this blanket. You need a fan, and you need this blanket, and you will be good. Skin contact though. You'll understand pretty much the second you touch it, but if it's been out in the sun, give it some time in front of a fan. It works so well. I went from overheated to a little cold. That's incredible. I actually love the fabric. I sleep with satin, and I'm used to it being slippery, and this is my absolute jam. tl;dr I would recommend this blanket to anyone and already have. Specifically the upgraded one, and I'm only saying that because I loved another blanket's design by the same company-- it's got this really cute ocean print-- but because there are multiple layers that aren't linked together except for the edges, the cooling magic wasn't as strong. That and the cloth was like, two pieces just kind of sliding around on each other. This blanket doesn't have that issue. It's worth having and I'm mad I didn't know about it sooner. Please make more of them, but stick with this joined-layers design. It feels so much more like one layer than two. I'd love to see more colors and prints, but not at the cost of superior cooling. It is melting out and when people realize this exists and works, they're going to want it. In front of a fan, it really feels like I have some sort of enchanted fabric, which, advanced science vs. magic, I basically do. This is basically a magic blanket. I refuse to go back to not having a magic blanket.

Quality: very well made, the material is silly soft and nicely weighted. I purchased the queen size and am pleased with the coverage, it hangs over the end of the bed and the sides a good 8 inches or so. I have a Serta cooling pad on my bed that really only helps if I sleep with no sheet fitted or otherwise ... this cooling blanket fixes this for me . As a women in her mid 50s night sweats is just a given fact and a friend recommended thos to me.. im so glad I took the plunge .. well worth the cost for the queen size .. I have woken up feeling not as cool as I did when I first got under the covers but never HOT like before and the feeling dissipates instantly with me shifting positions and I feel the cool relief. My only wish is that there were more color choices ..

It's unusual to find a product that does what it claims. This blanket has an unusual design. It's pretty thin and made of a synthetic material similar to quick dry compression shirts. But it feels weighted when lying in bed under it. So, it drapes over you making contact, which surprisingly feels cool to the touch. With a fan blowing the effect is even more. I'm using it during warmer summer nights and actually feel a little cold sometimes!

I’m in my third trimester of pregnancy and I was a hot sleeper to begin with but being pregnant amplified the hot sleeping for sure. this thing keeps me very cool which is a great relief ✨ it’s also going to be a plus for after the baby comes and the AC has to be turned down or off. The feel of the blanket is very smooth and soft which is a plus. It’s most definitely my favorite blanket now. I refer to the tag for washing instructions and I’ve had no issues with the blanket’s function nor have I had any snags in the material. I'm so conflicted, on one hand this cold blanket is SO nice to sleep in as it feels almost like a paper thin weighted blanket, but on the other it seems maybe TOO thin?! I've only had it for 10 days and it's ripped!!!! No idea how it happened, I sleep with socks on + keep my nails smooth but maybe it got caught on something? I woke up to this giant rip in the threading :(

I live in Texas and just started peri-menopause and I was looking for any small thing to help me get to sleep comfortably at night. I really just thought these were going to be a gimmick and I bought 2 (one for my son as well since the upstairs gets hot in the summer) and fully intended to try them and then return them disappointed. Couldn't have been more wrong. This blanket has absolutely saved my nights and now I look forward to getting into bed just to feel the nice cool relaxing hug this thing gives me. If I get hot at my desk I will go get it and wrap up in it and it cools me off. It feels so weird to get hot and then go get a blanket but it works and here we are. It's made of 2 very thin layers of fabric, you can see the light through it. When you put it on it will feel cool for a while and over time it will get warm, you just need to fluff it a little to get some more air in between the layers and it will cool right back up again. It works best when it's touching your skin so it's better if you are wearing shorts instead of pajama pants and make sure your arm is under the blanket not over it. The more skin contact the better it's going to work. My son and I both ended up taking ours off halfway through the first night because we got too cold. I have not stopped talking about this blanket on my Twitch stream, I'm recommending this to everyone. The price is amazing, I actually want to get a bigger size and maybe try the deluxe one as well. I only got a throw size but it's actually pretty big. I would recommend this to anyone who gets too warm, not even just for sleeping.
