I have a Serta cooling pad on my bed that really only helps if I sleep with no sheet fitted or otherwise ... this cooling blanket fixes this for me . I live in Texas and just started peri-menopause and I was looking for any small thing to help me get to sleep comfortably at night. I really just thought these were going to be a gimmick and I bought 2 (one for my son as well since the upstairs gets hot in the summer) and fully intended to try them and then return them disappointed. Couldn't have been more wrong. This blanket has absolutely saved my nights and now I look forward to getting into bed just to feel the nice cool relaxing hug this thing gives me. If I get hot at my desk I will go get it and wrap up in it and it cools me off. It feels so weird to get hot and then go get a blanket but it works and here we are. It's made of 2 very thin layers of fabric, you can see the light through it. When you put it on it will feel cool for a while and over time it will get warm, you just need to fluff it a little to get some more air in between the layers and it will cool right back up again. It works best when it's touching your skin so it's better if you are wearing shorts instead of pajama pants and make sure your arm is under the blanket not over it. The more skin contact the better it's going to work. My son and I both ended up taking ours off halfway through the first night because we got too cold. I have not stopped talking about this blanket on my Twitch stream, I'm recommending this to everyone. The price is amazing, I actually want to get a bigger size and maybe try the deluxe one as well. I only got a throw size but it's actually pretty big. I would recommend this to anyone who gets too warm, not even just for sleeping.

It really cools. I bought the Twin size as a throw since I’m the one who was hot at night hot flashes -it recommended not to wash in warm water or dry warm heat as it will cause the cooling tech to change. It feels soft like nylon and spandex mix -very light but would certainly slide off the bed - I would buy this again for a person with hot sweats etc :)

Slippery. I would size up so that it doesn’t slip off your bed so easily. I use it instead of a sheet. I do not tuck it in. I do use a ceiling fan. I feel like without a fan. It would not be as cooling.Whoever said they used it and it made them so cold they had to put on sweats was straight up lying. It is lovely as a cool top layer, cooler than a sheet, but definitely not frosty. A decent purchase for summertime use. I have not washed it yet, so can’t speak to durability. It is certainly thin and silky. If you wake up warm, just move it so a cooler section is on you and you’ll cool off again. For this reason, I don’t think it would share well -each person would need their own.

The quality of this blanket surprised me by how cool it is. I’m a natural running hot body whenever I goto bed. The softness and weight is perfect. Having a fan on definitely made it feel cooler in temperature. I highly recommend this blanket.

This blanket, truly, has changed the way I sleep. It’s just heavy enough to where I don’t mind sleeping either just it, and I’m the kind of person who needs a little weight or blanket or something - just top sheets don’t feel as good. Recently, I’ve actually taken to sleeping on top of the blanket. The back of my thighs are always sweating while I sleep and while this blanket does warm up from laying on it, it’s helped so much with the sweatiness. I wrap myself like a burrito lol, or wrap the blanket around my legs. Definitely considering buying another!
