(Please ❤️ or "like" to help other buyers!) 🙏 This is my third time buying this exact 20ft neon rope light and honestly I keep coming back because it’s been solid. As long as nothing has changed since my last order (and if it has I’ll update this) it’s been one of my favorite lighting setups The control module is the best part. It splits into two outputs which means if you buy one pack you get one rope but the setup is already ready if you want to add a second. That made expanding super easy when I bought another one. I’ve got it all set to turn on automatically at night and it just gives the room a chill futuristic vibe As for size one 20ft rope will barely cover one side of a medium room. That means just the top or just the bottom not both. If you’re going for both top and bottom edges like I did you’ll probably need four total. That gave me the full wraparound look I wanted So far the lifespan has been great. I’ve had mine running every night for at least five months and there’s been no flickering no dimming no weird issues. Just consistent light every single night Now installation is okay but not amazing. If you have flat walls you’ll probably be fine. But if you have textured walls like I do then be ready to get creative. The adhesive and clips work but only if the surface cooperates. I had to use extra tape in a few spots to get it to stick right The app kind of sucks but it’s what you’d expect at this price. It’s basic kind of clunky but it works. If this were a community-led product or had an open-source app it could probably be way better. But I get it you can’t expect premium software at this price Now one thing I do want to call out is the brightness. It does light up but it’s not the type of light you’ll notice from across the street. If you’re expecting vibrant room-filling color this isn’t it. Even with two strips running across the bottom of my room it’s hard to tell the difference between similar colors. White looks the brightest everything else is more subtle. I’d say this is perfect for nighttime ambient light like if you need to get up and walk around but don’t want to turn on a real light. Just don’t expect it to double as your main room lighting All that said I’m still really happy with it. It looks cool feels modern and if you set it up right it totally changes the vibe of your space. If anything changes with this batch I’ll update the review. ... show more

I have loved light strips for 20 years and am always replacing with better ones. I wanted gifts for a 7 and 11 year old I barely know. Came with 2 for each and had great time thanks to flexibility for designing patterns. 3 months later they texted still raving about how fun their lights are with easy to use remote with so many options for colors and brightness! I needed help installing with the tiny screws (arthritis) but mom and dad helped and have since moved the "arrangement" for younger sib and older one has changed hers and requested more for her birthday. By far the best rope lights I've purchased for great price and quality. Love the remote and parents say they have to remove from 7yr old's room to get her to quit playing with it some nights. To start the lights are very easy to installation. I purchased them for my salon suite. The rope is flexible, I was able to bend and shape it however I wanted. It worked great around the edge of my wall fixture. The adhesive was strong enough to hold everything in place. One of the best features is the app and remote control combo. The app connects via Bluetooth and allows you to change colors, adjust brightness, and switch between multiple modes. . I love that it’s bright but not overwhelming, and you can dim it down when you want something more relaxing. Overall, I highly recommend these lights! They’re a great value, super versatile, and add so much character to any room. I love that you can also use them outdoors, my next purchase will be for my patio at home. ... show more

This neon rope light is perfect for me. I wanted to highlight my raised koi pond at night and it proved to be very durable. The lights are perfect for outdoor applications. Just be sure to protect the remote sensor module from excessive moisture. The rope light itself is very waterproof. I did not need to use the adhesive clips, but they looked to be of adequate quality. I was able to connect with the app easily and control it from about 25' away. The app has a number of excellent features which I plan to explore. You can see in the pictures at sunset and then again at dusk. Overall I'm satisfied with these LED lights. A few observations I made during installation: - The cord is black and will stand out against the wall. Would prefer a white cord. Also, a longer cord would allow greater flexibility for sensor placement and positioning the end of the light strand. Just a couple more feet would be fine. - The light rope was flexible and easy to work with. - The light rope came with about a dozen fasteners. Not enough for a complex pattern with lots of turns, but plenty for me to securely outline the ceiling and edge of wall. Recommend including a few more fasteners. - Recommend drilling a small pilot hole for easier installation into drywall. Once screwed in, the fastener is secure. Since the rope is lightweight and flexible, there is very little force placed on the fasteners. - Available light patterns, colors, and brightness settings are typical for LED lights. - Sensor block contains two connectors to power two separate light ropes. Good quality product that with a few minor design tweaks could easily be a 5-star product. ... show more

My son absolutely loves these AILBTON 20Ft Neon Rope Lights! The colors are super vibrant and the flexibility makes them perfect for decorating his room just the way he wants. He especially enjoys using the app and remote to change the lighting modes — and the music sync feature adds such a cool vibe, especially when he's gaming.
