I have been doing DIY pest control in and around my house for years, and my typical go-to pesticide is Talstar P (bifenthrin), although I have also used Suspend SC and Dinotefuran in the past. However, as I have been reading up on the pros and cons of Lamda-Cyhalothrin, I think this may be better for my purposes indoors. From what I understand, this product - Agrisel Lambda Cy Pro - is basically generic Demand CS that costs around 25% less. It's a multi-use pyrethroid insect killer which targets many of the common pests that I want to eliminate - earwigs, ants, spiders, millipedes, etc. Technically, the label also says it targets cockroaches, but in my own research I have read that pyrethroids are not that good against them due to resistance. Nevertheless, this is still good enough for my purposes. Now, the area of strength in Lambda Cy Pro is in its delivery mechanism. Although it might not be as effective outdoors as Bifenthrin, and it might not be as potent as Gamma-cyhalothrin, Lambda-cyhalothrin in a microencapsulated form ( "CS") (like in this product) has more residual effect because the chemical release is more controlled. This is ideal for indoors because then you don't need to spray as often, and you still get continual kill of unwanted pests. However, it's still good enough outdoors that you can use it on the exterior of buildings as well, and I did just that today. Although it's too early to see any dead bugs lying around (which I don't generally see anyway after using insecticides since I use them for preventative maintenance), I do like this product. The label instructions were less severe than those on other insecticides, and so mixing and spraying was pleasant. I used the .8 oz. rate (which was .4 oz. of product in 1/2 gallon for my entire house), which means this bottle (~$30 retail) will allow me to make 20 applications around my house (~$1.50 per application). By the way, I need to comment on the smell of this. It was the first time that I've used a spray pesticide that actually smells good. It smelled like new shoes. If you go into a Footlocker, open up a box, and the new shoe smell wafts through the air - that's what this smelled like. It wasn't a strong smell, but I could smell it occasionally when I sprayed it. There was no lingering smell in the air, though. On the downside, the ounce markings on the bottle are hard to see. This is a problem with many chemicals like this; instead of coloring in the numbers, they're left as imprints in the plastic. Not a major deal, but a bit of an annoyance. Otherwise, I'm happy to have this product.

I bought this product because it’s supposed to be safe around my birds. When I’ve been fetching my eggs, I have noticed on several occasions that these tiny little ants are scurrying around the nesting box board in the direction of my chicken feeder. I buy food for my chickens. I don’t buy food for ants. This product is really tiny. But it did say 8 ounces when I bought it, so it should be expected to be quite tiny. The bottle itself looks similar to one of those fancy cleaning solution bottles where it has an extra little port so that you can measure out the product before pouring it into your sprayer. The instructions are written like weed killer. It’s pretty much an entire book attached to the container and most of the information is useless because it’s all the legal jargon about how you’re not supposed to drink the fluid and a whole bunch of additional information related to pests that I’m not trying to fight off. As shown in the picture, if you wanna fight off ants like I do, then you need between 0.2 and 0.4 fluid ounces per gallon of water. The only measurements on the built-in thing are a quarter of an ounce and half an ounce. So for me, I just mixed in a quarter of an ounce to a gallon of water and used a different sprayer than the one that I use for my weed killer. A couple of days have gone by any sightings of the ants. So I’m guessing that the product did work, or they found some different path to get to the feed.

This Agrisel Lambda‑Cy Pro 9.7 CS concentrate has shown itself to be an effective option for managing the steady parade of insects that show up where I live. The first thing I noticed was the complete lack of any disagreeable odor, which is a relief when you’re mixing a product intended for indoor use. With a low application rate of 0.2 to 0.8 ounces per gallon, it stretches surprisingly far, making it an economical choice for ongoing pest control. Living in a high‑desert area means dealing with monsoon rains that bring out every variety of small critter imaginable, followed by mild winter rains that encourage another round. After applying this indoors, it took a few days before I saw clear evidence that it was working. The tile area near my French doors had small bugs that were no longer moving—solid proof that the product was doing its job. The same results appeared in the front foyer, which confirmed its effectiveness inside the home. Now that I’ve seen how well it performs indoors, I feel comfortable recommending it for similar use. I can’t speak for outdoor application since I haven’t tested it there, but the indoor results have been consistently positive. No odor, no residue, and no lingering chemical presence—just a noticeable reduction in unwanted pests. In a nut shell, this product offers reliable performance and excellent value, especially for areas where seasonal weather brings out more insects than anyone cares to deal with.

I ordered this insecticide to help control the earwigs and ants around my home, especially during the summer when insects are most active. I purchased the 8-ounce bottle and followed the directions, mixing 0.2–0.4 ounces per gallon of water. I’m giving it 4 stars because of the measuring reservoir on the bottle. It is supposed to make measuring easy, but I could not get it to fill properly no matter how I tilted the bottle. I’ve used similar bottles with the “inverted-triangle” measuring chamber before, and they worked perfectly. I noticed that the 16- and 32-ounce versions appear to have the “inverted-triangle” measuring reservoir, but not this one. I ended up using a separate disposable container to measure the product. Once mixed, I treated the perimeter of my house, especially the foundation, doors, and windows. The product has a strong odor, although I didn’t find it unpleasant. Within 3–4 hours, I started seeing small dead insects. Overall, I’m very pleased with the results. It appears to work very well, and I would definitely recommend this product. My only complaint is the measuring design on the 8-ounce bottle.

I have used professional pest control for many years and decided to cancel my service and do my own pest control. To pick up where the professional service left off, I purchased Agrisel Lambda-Cy Pro 9.7 CS. I like that it comes in a self measuring bottle so I don't need to contaminate a measuring cup in order to mix it. It is easy to measure and mixes well with water in a garden sprayer. The main pests I have are spiders and ants so I sprayed inside around my baseboards inside and around my foundation and windows on the outside. The product is highly concentrated so a small amount of product goes a long way. I used .8 oz per gallon of water in a small electric sprayer. I really like that after it dries completely it is pet safe. Before I sprayed inside my garage and basement, I had active spiders. Within a few days, I no longer saw any living spiders but many dead ones. This products seems to be very effective and an 8 oz bottle costs less than what I was paying for 1 month of professional pest control services.

I’ve been using this for about a month as part of my basement/crawl space pest control routine. No complaints so far, though I'm still waiting to see how it holds up long-term. Mixing and applying it was super simple, which was a huge plus and I always put a little dishwashing liquid in it to help it stick. It seems to work great even at the minimal mixing requirement. Just a heads up: the smell is really intense, so definitely wear some protection and take your time while spraying. It dries pretty fast, which I love. I haven’t used it inside yet, but it’s supposed to last 90–120 days outside, so we'll see if it lives up to that. I’m going to keep testing it, but so far, it seems like a solid choice for outdoor bugs. Just make sure to use some common sense and wear your safety gear!

I bought this 8-ounce bottle a few weeks ago to deal with an uptick in pests around our property and along the home's perimeter. It mixed easily into my pump sprayer, and the results were noticeable within just a couple of days. It wiped out active bugs along the foundation quickly and has kept spiders, ants, and other pests from making their way indoors since I applied it. Having a micro-encapsulated formula that holds up outdoors against rain and sun has made a big difference. The only slight surprise when it arrived was just how compact the 8-ounce bottle is in person. That said, it is a concentrated formula, so you only need a fraction of an ounce per gallon of water, so a little bit actually goes much further than you'd think. If you're looking for a professional-grade pest spray that works fast for residential use, this stuff definitely gets the job done.

I ordered the Agrisel Lambda-Cy Pro Insect and Pest Control to help with my ant invasion in the house. I used a one-gallon pump sprayer and sprayed the lower perimeter (1 foot and below) of my house inside and out. Within a few days the army of ants disappeared, so this was a win after trying basic ant traps and other methods that didn't seem effective. The product is concentrated and easy to use when following the instructions. Here are a few considerations: - Small bottle... a little pricey, but since product is concentrated a little goes a long way. I used just .4 oz per 1 gallon. - Bottle allows for self-measuring without a separate measuring cup... 1/4 and 1/2 self-contained measuring cup and also 1-8 oz side markings (see my photos). - Booklet makes it easy to figure out the amount of product per gallon for the insect(s) you are targeting. In all honesty, this is not a fun way to spend money, but it is a relief to solve an insect problem, AND, it's way cheaper than hiring a professional service to likely just get the same results. With that... thumbs up. I'm won't need to buy it again anytime soon, because there's a lot left, but I will when/if I need to in the future.
