    • Very potent zapper, even with a standard car battery
I also have a more expensive Zebra brand 10 mile charger so I have that to compare it with. I much prefer this Agriotter 10 mile charger. My electric fence tester reads around 5-6 thousand volts zap on the the Zebra brand while this Agriotter is best described as "off the chart" for the testers maximum 7k measurement. It lights up the 7k lights brightly and is prone to shocking the ground loudly while I insert the ground probe into the soil. The only downside is it does drain the battery faster than the weaker Zebra brand, but that is to be expected with the increased power output. I was using the Zebra brand on some escape prone pigs and switched over to the Agriotter and that put a stop to their escapes. I gave it only 4 stars on the weather resistance because I read from other reviews that it was not very rain proof. I cut a plastic milk jug in half and installed this charger up inside providing complete rain protection. It doesn't get rained on this way so I cant speak to its weatherproof capabilities. If I buy another charger for a different pasture, I will buy another one of these. ... show more

    • Charger sucks
Like others said this fencer works great when it works but the 110 charger went out after 3 weeks of continuous use. There is no phone # even on their website only n email contact and they don’t respond. It was keeping the bears from coming over my fence but now I’m back to square one.

I have 2 goats and 2 Great Pyrenees…all are escaped artists. Put this up, ran my corded wire, and plugged in. With everyone watching…I tested it on myself first, so I know what they would be feeling. HELLO!!!! Yeah it works and I gave out a sound that my wife had never heard before…ooooh she could not stop laughing. As soon as I quit dancing, my most stubborn goat gives it a try…she went from goat to bucking bronco in less than a second. My male Pyrenees comes to see what all the fuss is about…zap…yip, yell, and howl. We looked at the other two…they gave this look of NOPE, WE’ER GOOD. So long story short, the testers survived with no marks and no one has touched it since👍 ... show more

    • Only lasted 6 months
This charger worked fine at first but quickly stopped working in the 6th month of using it. The side cord that attaches the wires to this charger becomes so loose that you no longer have a connection. I wouldn't spend $100.00 for this unit to only last 6 months. It's a rip off.

This is not the product we ordered at all. The product it’s self looks like someone pulled it from their own fence and shipped their old one. It’s very dirty. Not to mention it’s NOT seven the same brand we even ordered! Very disappointed.
