I decided that I need to replace my .7 cubic foot $50 general purpose safe that I kept my CCW guns in. This .9 cubic foot is larger, more important for my needs, taller (my old safe was only 7" tall and my pistols could not stand up in any rack). And the built in pistol stands are an absolute plus. they are brilliantly designed. They can be screwed into place to be used or conveniently stored flush against the back. I did not plan to rely on the fingerprint scanner as my impression is that the technology is not ready for prime time. But this scanner works. The only thing is that you have to remember to apply the same pressure (not too much or to little) on your finger as when you originally scanned your print. This safe is definitely worth the $100 more in capacity and convenience. This safe also offers Bluetooth operation. I have tried it for the novelty and it does work. But it does not interest me in practice. There are three passwords to the safe: the admin password which gives you access to the safe's settings including the other two passwords, the "regular" password, and the Bluetooth password. The safe is not at all heavy so you will need to secure it to a stud, etc. The holes and hardware for this are provided. The one downside is that all operations of this safe are accompanied with audible cues. This does not appear to be controllable. If you are wanting a safe to silently retrieve your pistol in the middle of the night, this safe is not for you.

This safe is a secure place to store your handguns. You can use a fingerprint scanner, key, or code to open the safe. It is powered by AA batteries (included) and has a light on the inside of you are opening the door in the dark. Comes with hardware for anchoring. I recommend this product.

Great product. Can store dozens of fingerprints and is very versatile in that it uses fingerprints or code, or bluetooth. I didn't use the app or the bluetooth, but the fingerprints and keycode entries were great. FYI it is a six digit code that is used. Really nice product. I also like the shelf on top. Perfect size for what I need. P.S. When opening it up, look out for the safe keys within the attached pink styrofoam. I didn't see them at first and was unclear how to open the safe

I found this easy to set up and use. The fingerprint reader is pretty accurate. It doesn’t always read on the first try but sometimes it’s just how you place your finger on the pad. No issues with reliability. I don’t really use the app. Just touch the pad and it opens. Good value.

The media could not be loaded. My husband and I recently purchased ourselves a set of handguns that we use for sport and if needed for protection. However to protect our family members and any visitors that come in to our house we found it necessary to purchase a gun safe. This gun safe is the perfect size to just keep tucked away in your closet or wherever you want I’m is actually wall mountable it has the brackets and everything you need to mounted on the wall it’s a heavy durable steel but not too heavy to lift. It has gun holders inside that you just put the bale of your gun over and it holds it in place so that you can grab it out easily. There is a shelf in there so if you’re wanting to store any registrations or license or extra ammo you have the opportunity to lock that away too. But was really intriguing about this particular safe was the fact that we could access our fire arms with a single fingerprint. In the a case we need to grab our guns quickly we have the ability to do that without fumbling for keys, or trying to remember a passcode, all we need is our fingerprint. Now there is the option that you can use the passcode on the keypad which is great. There’s also the option that you can use mechanical key. You can also use the app so that you can access and unlock it more remotely. The app and the fingerprint were really easy to set up. As long as you have your smart phone connected to the Wi-Fi and your Bluetooth on it’s really really simple. If you need to have a physical instructions to walk you through the app they do provide a booklet with pictures and print that may help someone that’s maybe not as technically advanced. The locking mechanism is powered by four batteries, which are included. Should those batteries die while you’re safe is locked. There is a back up USB power cord for an emergency power to get your safe and locked. I know I mentioned the gun holder inside and the shelf but there’s also a little LED light that helps light up things so assuming that you’re safe is going to be more secluded this light is very useful in finding what you need especially if you don’t have a flashlight on hand. So if you’re thinking of purchasing a gun safe that’s going to keep your family safe but give you a quick access and an easy set up. This particular safe is a fantastic choice there’s nothing I can find about it that was difficult or poor quality.
