The BTECH RPS-30M Regulated Power Supply allows for simple and reliable AC-to-DC power conversion with a constant source of DC voltage. An ideal power source for CB, Ham, GMRS and LMR Two way radios, Scanners, and all 13.8V equipment. The RPS-30M features both a cigarette plug and universal hardwired screw-type connection terminals that ensure easy compatibility with all DC powered devices. The RPS-30M has advanced safety protection including: overheat, short, and amperage surge protection. The power supply is designed to be immune from radio frequency interference at close range. The RPS-30M is the easiest way to connect high amperage DC equipment at home. The RPS-30M has a peak 30 amp output (with a 25 amp constant output). Easily power your high powered equipment such as amateur, ham, and CB two way radios. The RPS-30M will allow you to quickly connect any DC powered device. Any device with a cigarette power cable can quickly plug into the front of the power supply. If you device has battery lead terminals or direct wires, they can be quickly connected to the screw post terminals on the backside of the RPS-30M The RPS-30M is built on an efficient aluminum heat sink platform. The fan is extremely quiet and in its highest setting does not exceed 50 dB while averaging 15dB on an average low setting. The RPS-30M has a small footprint and a low profile case while allows it to seamlessly fit in any home and lab environment. It measures in at only 9" x 8" x 3" and weighs 4lbs.     • Will it work
Can’t afford high price radio gear anymore so I thought I would give BTEC a go at it and so far I am enjoying this power supply. I am using a Yaesu ft891 and a yaesu 6000r both at 50 watts and the power supply isn’t getting hot or even warm. Picked up a little rf when using a roll up jpole antenna at 50 watts but cleared up when turned down to 25 watts. Have not used at 100 watts and don’t plan to as I am happy at 50 watts with a endfed antenna or a 1/4 wave vertical antenna. I hope it works out so I don’t need to keep buying expensive batteries. ... show more
