They screw in well and do what they are supposed to do! Just be careful to not screw them in if it gets hard or the drill had to work a bit more or it will snap the hook part off. But what can you expect for plastic?

This makes putting up insulators so simple and lightning speed. Mark your tool piece that comes with it and align the open slot with the mark on your tool so you point all your insulators up. They do snap if a horse runs through the fence so get extra.

These insulators and the installation tool were amazing for my first time creating an electric fence. I have some Houdini goats and they have been able to get out of almost every enclosure I (and their previous owner) have created for them. I got them for clearing my homestead and wanted them to eat the brush, not my orchard and berries. It took some figuring to get the wire height and spacing correct, and I was able to move these insulators very easily for each adjustment. No pre-drilling was required and the tool made it so simple! I would strongly recommend!

I’m a rancher, and I put up and repair a LOT of electric fences. I’ve been using those dang plastic/angled/drive a nail into a round post things for years. I decided to give these a try when they came up on a recommendation by Amazon when I bought some other electric fence supplies. Boy howdy, was I surprised at how easy these are to use. I’m hopin that the thicker plastic on the insulators will hold up to the South Texas sun better that those soft plastic yellow ones that have to be nailed in at a stupid angle. I’ll be sure to let y’all know if they hold up to real ranch and cattle use in the hot South Texas sun, or if they’re only good for some small critters around y’all’s garden. Regardless, it sure is nice putting that driver on my impact driver and screwing these things in nice and quick!
