This adapter is solid and well built. It fits my 2018 Explorer's 7-pin receptacle easily and securely and accepts my trailer connector very well. It delivers the electricity correctly with no flickering. Does everything it's designed to do and does it well.

This adapter is molded construction around all of the contacts. The adapter took a little persuasion getting it to seat fully into the factory installed “Pollack” connection with the retaining tab held in by the spring loaded cover. After getting it fully seated the first time the adapter became easier to seat in place. I am using the “5” pin connection and did not have any issues with firm connection. I own a VW and it is well known for not recognizing any adapters or plugs other than the ones they sell so I was VERY suprised when this one was “Plug & Play”. I am a happy customer.

This item was as described. Works to convert a 7pin outlet on a truck to a 4 or 5 pin for small trailers. The material was a bit less robust than I have seen on other adapters of this type, but it works. The pin covers are very cheap and I doubt that they would be effective or last long so I would advise to store this adapter in the truck when not in use. For the price though this is a value. Getting the job done for less.

This item looks and feels well made. It will prepare you for almost any scenario you might encounter as far as towing goes. I like that it is nice and compact with no pigtails hanging and it is designed to keep moisture and dirt out of your connectors with the covers, the 5 pin cover on my example fits very loosely so I may have to improvise on that one. I see no reason it won’t perform as intended for a considerable amount of time. It is fairly priced and in line with most other examples. 5🌟’s

Why aren't all 7 pin adapters made like this? It's all about versatility and this trailer adapter has both 4 and 5 trailer wire plugs so you can use your 7 pin plug. The Agrieyes Store 7 pin to 4 and 5 pin trailer adapter is a very well made adapter that is easy to use and is a simple plug and play device. This adapter plugs right into a 7 pin plug allowing my boat trailer 4 pin plug to run the trailer lights with no problem. If you need a nice 7 pin adapter, order this one with confidence.

Well, I was going to use this for a four pin conversion on my boat trailer, but the adapter doesn't have a big enough gap in it to allow the weather flap to lock it into place. Thus then, allowing it to be pulled out of the seven way socket when under any tension. The plug does work as described, and my 4 pin fit tightly in place, but it's not a good match if you're using it on a newer Ram 2500.
