  • Great build quality, super loud headphone volume, balanced audio, great functionality, easy to use
Color: Pink Capacity: 64GB
These are really awesome! I bought two of them for two of my daughters. These things are not disappointing at all! I can vouch for everything except for the battery life as I haven't tested them for more than just a few minutes to make sure everything worked. But from the reviews online and if what the advertisement is saying, and basing that off of the really good build quality super solid, then the battery life is probably also really good. The screens are really nice and bright. Good colors not washed out. Navigation is also pretty easy, some people said outdated but, it's simple to use. The buttons have an option to be on all the time, off all the time, or they light up when you touch the buttons. I thought at first the purple one was going to be hard to see in daytime, but the buttons are super bright. Also, the FM radio is actually pretty amazing. The only feature I don't understand is the FM recording, but otherwise the FM radio has an option to let the mp3 player preset all available stations that it picks up on, or you can go and just set ones that you like. If you press and hold the back and forward buttons that will act as a seek function. If you tap the back or four buttons that will act as a tuning option. Also the mp3 player gives you an option when you're exiting the radio to leave it playing in the background or shut it off, and if you leave it playing the background, the mp3 player seems to have no issues with performance. The mp3 function is probably even better. I had a few songs on a micro SD card and when I put the card in it does pop up with internal and sd card storage options. Also in the mp3 settings will be a way for you to scan the music files, this is necessary to make the mp3 player usable with your music. But out of I think 70 songs it only took the thing probably 7 seconds to scan. After the scan was done, that gave options for everything you would expect with genres, artists, albums, it also has options to add favorites and all that. I did not test out the video playback and picture playback stuff, but again I'm sure it'll work just fine. The audio recording and external speaker work really well. The audio recording comes out pretty clear and I do not need to hold it right next to my mouth for the thing to pick me up with good clarity. The recorder has options to record as wav or mp3 formats. I suggest changing it to mp3 as the native setting is wav and takes more space. I did not test out the Bluetooth function, however I will tell you that it is turned on from factory settings so if you don't plan on using it, make sure you turn it off to save your battery. I'm sure some people won't and then complain about battery life not being good. As far as headset quality goes, it gets loud, really loud. I thought that these would probably do okay on volume but definitely they get loud even with decent not necessarily high-end headphones. It is a little alarming how loud they get so definitely make sure your kids not cranking them up all the way. My hearing is bad and it was not anywhere near close to its max setting and it was kind of hurting my ears. Really setting seven or eight on the volume of 30 is actually plenty loud enough inside a quiet house. Sound quality was also nicely balanced. There was some decent bass, nothing punchy but you could tell it was present and the treble level did not sound overpowering and was not tinny. Again, very nicely balanced. They seem to come pre-charged from the factory. The startup time and shut down time on these units is actually pretty quick within about three or so seconds. Again, really super units, I was pleasantly surprised with how well things worked. ... show more

  • Great but doesn’t come with microchip!! Great but doesn’t come with microchip!!
Color: Pink Capacity: 64GB
SO SO CUTE AND FUNCTIONAL !! I was looking for something nice so I didn’t have to pay for music on Spotify anymore and this works great ! The audio quality is there and it’s easy to navigate. I only wish you could set the background to whatever you want. And WARNING: it doesn’t come with a microchip but you can use the og 64 gb storage !! This was my fault for assuming it did but whatever lol. It’s pretty small and has a good weight to it so it’s comfy to put in your pocket or carry it around. I haven’t had a chance to test the battery life but it came fully charged ! ... show more

  • A bit janky, but still better than other mp3 players in this price range
Color: Purple Capacity: 64GB
So, to be clear, it's good for its price, but it doesn't measure up to the quality of older and better mp3 players. I'm going to be keeping it, but there are just some things that bug me. First and foremost on my nuisance list: this mp3 player doesn't show the artist of the song that's playing, and it makes it very difficult to see or find the artist, instead it displays (often incorrect) album art, which doesn't seem to be able to be deleted. Also, while it does have a shuffle feature and a "play only this folder" option... both kind of suck and don't work well, or at all. I had a Sony Walkman that died, and it was awesome - it was awesome at playlists and allowed you to search alphabetically - features that other mp3 players I've tried seem to be tragically missing (including this one). Then there's the lack of buttons, which means this mp3 player is impossible to operate by touch, and the couple buttons there are (the volume and power buttons on the side) seem a bit flimsy. Another major complaint is (again) with the software. The UI is pleasing to look at and not terribly difficult to navigate, but everything under the hood is just a headache. After plugging it into a computer, a prompt comes up asking you to choose between options - the only way to actually get the mp3 player to connect and allow you to transfer music, is to not select either of them, not press anything, and just wait. Then, after I decided to transfer a couple audiobooks - the player just lumped them in with my music. Fortunately there are folders, so I can get around playlists that way. Unfortunately, the transfer just lumps in "album art" files along with music, so actually finding the song you want is made unnecessarily difficult - you have to scroll forever, can't really organize of find your music, and have to deal with a ton of trash that honestly detracts from the experience - the album art isn't even applied to the right songs T_T. It still does seem to be above other mp3 players in this price range, but that's only because the bar is so low. Like, there's a heft to this that makes it feel like it's durable and better quality (even if I'm skeptical, as it already has developed a bubble on its front with less than a day of practically no use), and after a month of moderate use it froze twice and had to be reset with a paperclip. It also looks nice, and has features that others are lacking: bluetooth, radio, external speakers (even if they're quite weak), the ability to put it to sleep or shut down the screen without turning it off (thus minimizing the chance of accidentally pressing something and changing what you're listening to). ... show more

  • Good purchase
Color: Silver Capacity: 64GB
This mp3 is awesome and have had no issues with it. My son uses it all day long for school and hanging out at home. Hardest part was finding out where to download mp3 songs

  • If you're going to get an MP3 player, GET THIS ONE
Color: Purple Capacity: 64GB
I love this mp3 player!!! Its a good size, and the sound quality is really good! Its really easy to maneuver through the folders and lists of songs. It seems pretty durable (I've only had it for two days as of now), and I LOVE the shade of purple!! I was very happy to find that you can change the wallpaper, as when I got it the wallpaper was just black. There's only six different wallpapers to choose from, however. But they are nice wallpapers, I must say. I don't know what the Bluetooth, recording, or e-book features are like as far as quality goes, because I haven't fiddled with those yet; but I will say this: putting the songs on the player was a lot easier than I thought it would be! It charges fairly fast, too. (It was on a little less than 25% battery when I charged it today, and it took... about an hour, I would say.) I didn't see this in the description, but it comes with a set of wired earbuds, which was great because now I don't have to buy any separately! They're black, for anyone wondering about earbud color. I've got 74 songs on the player so far, and I've got a LOT more songs I want to put on it, but I don't know where it would say how much built-in storage I have left. Maybe I need to re-read the manual. And I love how the buttons light up when you touch them! You also can set it to where they're on the whole time the player is on. You don't need to press them at all; you just touch the button and it does what it should. The screen turns off if its been a minute with no activity. That didn't surprise me, in fact I would expect it to do that, but you can't just push the "next" or the "pause button" with any results. It still plays the song, but to turn the screen back on, or do anything with the buttons, you have to push the power button, then it shows you a bright blue screen that has the time and date, then you push the middle start/pause button, and it shows your song. You don't have to do that to change the volume if the screen turns off. Once again, I love this mp3 player!! On a scale of 1/10, I'd give it a 10. Or an 11. ;) ... show more

  • Two models, same brand, same issues on both, overall a complete waste of time and money.
Color: Purple Capacity: 64GB
I bought two by this brand the AGPTEK A02 and the AGBPTEK Touch and I returned both because they equally sucked and ended up frying my brand new SD card. I really liked the look of the touch but I also wanted something with physical buttons that I wouldn't have to look at to skip through songs, but they were both just absolutely terrible. They use the same interface and the sound quality on both was abysmal. When I tried the first device in my car it was so awful I was terrified my speakers got blown out or something because when I tried the second device it was the same - the bass was so buzzy you couldn't understand anything - tested with the same song on both - then I tried my phone bluetooth (again, same song) and it was just fine. I tried them on my earbuds, same issue. I tried adjusting the sound style on the devices and it didn't really make a difference, the only way to listen to either one bearably was to basically adjust the bass on my car settings so low it was practically off and at that level what's the point of listening to music. The speakers on both units were also horrid quality, which didn't matter because I wasn't planning on listening to music on the actual device anyway, but if I had wanted to use it as a backup they aren't worth having as a feature. I checked the SD card on my computer and the songs played fine so it wasn't anything to do with the song quality or the SD card, I was in a crunch about to leave for a road trip and decided to take both of them anyway since it's really what I bought it for, but that turned out to be a mistake. About an hour in while trying to change songs from one playlist to another on the external card as it was playing on the device it froze up and restarted. When it booted back up it was back on the same track and it wouldn't let me go forward/back/switch to anything else it just kept freezing and restarting. I tried the SD card on the other device and it said card not found. Ended up just breaking down and paying for ANOTHER month of Spotify just to get through my trip, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place. When I got home I plugged the SD card into my computer and it said it was corrupted, so somehow the player fried my brand new card that I literally just bought to use with it. ... show more

Awesome little gadget! I was afraid that all MP3 players would be crap these days but this is a delight. Lists my music so I can easily find everything. Is quite intuitive. Sound is terrific. Looking forward to experimenting with recording programs off FM radio to create new listening fun for exercise. Perfect size for my small hands too. I bought a cigarette lighter leather holder to store this safely. ... show more

  • Only used for one day, not bad at all!
Color: Purple Capacity: 64GB
I needed an mp3 player that could pass through a metal detector and sadly this one did pass if I tucked it under my belt buckle but other than that, it does cause the detector to go off. Which is the reason why I have to return it. Otherwise, this is a pretty cool mp3 player! It’s easy to navigate and very responsive. Transferring music did take very long but I think a better micro SD card could fix or help that. The size is perfect, fits in my palm and the weight is heavier than most mp3 players. It’s made of metal and has a thick plastic covering for the back and front, giving it a very sleek look. Kinda reminds me of a smaller iPhone 5. The playback is actually very good to me, it sounds clearer than most mp3 players I’ve had. And the speaker is also just as good; and I love that you have the option to have the speaker off at all times in case your Bluetooth disconnects. Wouldn’t want my music blasting randomly. But I will say the shuffle was poor for me. I had 607 songs on my mp3 but it was shuffling the same 20 songs over and over for hours. Only randomly every 1-2 hours it would shuffle in a new song. Overall I was hearing the same stuff over and over again no matter how many times I reset and pressed shuffled again. Volume is very good, I don’t need to go super high for another person to start hearing the music coming from my ear. About 18-24 is good. The buttons were very responsive and I enjoyed it, but not a fan of touchscreen buttons personally. It felt difficult to make sure I was pressing them or not. As for the battery? It’s probably the best battery life I’ve ever had on an mp3 player. I work 12 hour shifts and this lasted through the entire shift, not counting my breaks though. So more like 10 hours and 45 mins. But even after I finished my shift, it played for another hour and a half before dying. The Bluetooth also disconnected only 3 times in my 12 hours shift. Pretty good compared to most! Truly awesome in that department! Overall, take my review with a grain of salt as I used this for only a day. I think I’d really love this mp3 players in the long run but not for work. I only give this 3/5 stars for the difficulty of touchscreen buttons and shuffle was very poor. For an mp3 player that’s the one thing I need it do to well :( ... show more
