This little ice maker has been a game changer! We used to have to wait 24 hours for ice. Now I can have iced coffee, ice water, smoothies, whenever I want! I gave 5 stars bc it’s been so amazing having it so far, but it definitely takes longer than it claims to have ice. I don’t mind, it’s not that big a deal, but if you’re hoping for speedy, that it’s not. I’d say it takes about an hour to create all the ice when you fill to the max line. But probably 10-15 mins for enough ice for 1 drink. I love that this isn’t enormous like others U was considering. It’s a bit loud, but again, doesn’t bother may, but may bother some. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this little machine. So convenient!

My icemaker in my fridge played out and I did not want to replace it since the fridge is over 10 years old. I was mindful of previous reviews but still decided to try. Here are a couple of issues and ways I found to help. The ice will not remain frozen in the basket, Be sure to remove each batch immediately to freezer. Otherwise it will quickly start to defrost. The first 2 or 3 batches are thinner, smaller bullets which melt faster. I find that keeping a filtered pitcher in my fridge with very cold water helps the first few to be a little thicker. Make sure you have the time to remove the ice timely, possibly while making dinner etc. After making these changes I am very pleased with the quality of ice
