We purchased two of these beds, and while it does take some time to assemble (1 hr each, for us) the actual assembly is very intuitive. The hardware is individually wrapped and labeled, and the diagram was clearly marked for which pieces were needed. Some bolts didn't seem to line up, but then I recalled that you can't tighten everything one at a time, so I loosened bolts until everything was inserted and then tightened and it was a perfect fit. The beds have been in use for a few weeks now and they are still holding up really well - I always worry the bolts will come undone on these assembly furniture items because I am not super strong and fear my tightening isn't enough. So far, so good- no wobbling or creaking. We did not use a box spring with the beds, so we do need to have a comforter that drapes over and doesn't tuck under the mattress in order to keep the little glimpses of wood slats from the bed frame hidden while the beds are made... and since these are teenager beds in our house, I can't say they are made very often, so a small edge of the wood slats are visible when you stand near the unmade beds. We have a 13" Sealy mattress on it, and it is a good height with the headboard of the bed; the proportions are really good on this bed to accommodate a taller or even a slightly smaller mattress height, although I think anything smaller than 10" would look best with a low profile box spring as well. We ordered the green velvet, and it is so fun, my teen girls think it's the best thing and can't wait to decorate their room around it.

This bed is not only sturdy, but is beautiful and worth every penny spent! I used this for a kids room, so the beds are a little low, but for kids, this is perfect, the material/fabric is very high end and looks high end. Very easy to assemble and I would say this is a bargain for the money!

The bed took me a bit to put it together but in the end it was so worth it. Not a single squeak when we get in our out of the bed or if we roll around on it. The crushed velvet is so beautiful and the whole f ame is so classy and elegant. It was well worth the money spent and will last us a very long time. Totally worth it.

I got this bed for my 4 year old’s room. It is a great bed, looks good, easy to put together. I did it myself in 2 hours. The only thing is the slabs came damaged where the screws were supposed to go. It still works because it didn’t affect the structure but that was the only negative. Would recommend if you need an affordable bed. It sure looks more than the price. My son loves it.

I bought this bed for a very small extra bedroom. The bed came quickly and without any flaws. No damage to the box or the bed. I took a picture in bad light. Sorry. Still waiting for a new lamp in there. I got the Grey Velvet. I was worried it would be too dark but it was perfect. Sort of a medium grey I would say. It is a very soft looking grey. It took a little time putting it together. Everything was there, but one of the screws was hard to reach on the headboard. The headboard is something different on the back. I have never seen this before. It unzips and zips and everything for putting the bed together came inside of it. My husband joked it would be a great hiding place and that is a for sure. Lol. So buy this bed and you get a great place to hide all your fairy dust. The bed is sturdy and fits perfect in a small room. Two of them would look great in a larger room. In the photo I have placed a brand new Northern Nights 14inch bed in a box mattress onto it. Summer cooling side up. You can flip the mattress over in the winter for a warmer temperature. It has a darker color on the other side. No box springs required with this bed. The new mattress fits the bed perfect, and it is like laying on a cloud. I like having the 14 inches of mattress because I think this bed would be too low to the floor with less. Great bed for the space and the price. Great delivery. Thanks Amazon for a better nights rest.

The box arrived to my house having clearly been opened before. There was eBay packing tape all over the box and was poorly secured. As soon as I opened the box, all the screws and washers fell out everywhere as the bag they were sort of contained in was already torn open. There were no instructions, only torn parts of a cardboard box that I’m assuming the instructions originally came in. When I laid all the pieces out, it was clear to see I only had one of the side posts for the headboard, and was missing another upholstered piece for the side of the bedframe.
