I'll preface this by saying I am a guy with short hair. I have used this product on and off for a few years. Everything else I have tried either makes my hair crunchy or dries out my scalp. This is very light, smells good, and holds my hair nicely without any shine. The texture is almost like a whipped butter. It smells a bit like playdough, but I get a stronger Vanilla scent which is my favorite. This has always been a pretty expensive hair clay no matter where you purchase it, however I think it's worth shelling out a few extra dollars for this. Very reliable for getting my hair in good shape.

I’ve used this paste for 12 years. It’s the best. It smells nice, stays all day (and sometimes for two days), and doesn’t make my hair all stiff like a gel does. I have fine hair and it looks good only with texturizing products. This gives the perfect texturized look. My hair stays pliable, and where I don’t want my hair to be moving around throughout the day, I spray a little hairspray after applying the paste. It’s great value for the money in my opinion, since one container lasts me 3-6 months of daily use. I’m not sure if I’ll ever switch to a different hair product. AG really cooked with this one.

No matter how nicely and easily this spreads, do not put this on your toast. You’re going to be disappointed with both the taste and texture, and the company that makes it is not responsible for what comes out the other end or how it makes you feel. Take it from me and just use butter. It’s great in my hair though. Short length styles nicely and the hold is solid for the whole day with a natural looking finish. Best part is a little goes a long way. Does the job a lot better than butter, I can tell you that.

I’ve always been a gel guy but run your fingers through your hair or put a hat on and goodbye hairstyle. This paste is great! You don’t need much. Rub it in your hands well so you can barely even see it and then work your hands and fingers through your hair and voila. No crunchy gel. If you take a hat off, just slightly dampen your fingers and you’re right back where you started. I’m a changed man! Sometimes it’s the little things!
