I have fine hair that I liken to cobwebs, feathers, Yorkie hair. If you can relate, I am writing this review for you...and HUGS! Okay, so I use a small dab of this product (a pea size rubbed on my hands) and work it into my roots on newly washed, damp hair—tiny amount! Then I rub in a little Hair Dance Volumizing Dry Shampoo with my fingers (inexpensive, long-lasting, bought on Amazon--I have tried them all). This combo is the only thing that gives me light, workable texture without greasiness or heaviness. I wear my hair in a bun, braids or a ponytail with bangs and fringe (I think if I had a different cut it may be even more dynamic!). This combo allows me to go 3-4 days without washing (day three is best) if I add a little powder each night. Never in my life has that been possible with my "feathers". I am 52. This combo helps me feel cute about my hair. I have tried every fine hair/volumizing/thickening/texturizing product under the $un. Also...this combo is the cleanest dry paste (and dry shampoo) I have found and both smell lovely without a synthetic vibe. LOVE!

This is so so good. I've been searching for a dry shampoo/ general products for when I straighten my curly hair. Most, even the extra careful ingredient ones trigger my asthma. This one doesn't! Smells great. Super subtle and clean scent. There is definitely no funky stuff in here. It is a paste and acts like a paste. So your hair will be thicker and fuller but also fairly set. Its not going to make your hair super silky or soft. It honestly like this about the product bc it add so much volume and stays styled, but wanted to share for everyone's expectations.

I wanted to find a good alternative to hair spray because I hate the smell and it makes a mess on the counter. I was very glad to find this product. Once you rub it around your hands, it has a very light balm or very light wax feeling, but it dries up in your hair and holds just like hair spray does. You can even run your hands through your hair and the shape will hold for quite some time. The scent is infinitely better than hair spray. It has a very neutral and clean lemongrass smell that's not strong or overwhelming at all. I would definitely buy this again. My only negative is that its a smidge pricey for the amount you get, but the quality is so good that I don't mind too much.

I love this stuff. As a person with fine hair, this gives me awesome root lift. A previous hairstylist showed me how to use it properly- take about a pea size amount and rub it in your hands to soften and melt the product. Then use your fingers to rake it through your hair at the roots. It acts like a dry shampoo as well. Gives you lots of grip and texture.

This is one of the best styling products I’ve ever used. I have short/pixie hair and I am Asian (which is usually not a good combination due to the texture of Asian hair). This gives my hair just the right amount of texture and hold, without making it stuff. HOWEVER it’s kind of ruining my hair. I’ve noticed that it is extremely dry, and had a weird texture after i wash/condition my hair. I have since started using a super-hydrating conditioner which is helping the issue somewhat. Fabulous! I did read that this product is very drying… which is what I was looking for. My hair is so oily that I spend a fortune on dry shampoo just for my roots. I also live in Florida, so with the heat and humidity, my hair is oily within hours of a fresh shampoo. This product keeps the scalp dry. May not be good for those with dry hair or wintering in northern states. I can go 5 days without a wash and hair is not sticky or greasy. It takes a few tries to get just the right amount applied. I also have thinning hair and use a root color touch up and believe it sticks better to the roots now that they aren’t oily, and has better coverage with root powder.

Don’t fall for the video results!! It says dry lift so I was expecting it to be more of a paste that will give your hair lift without t that greasy look!! But this thing is greasy and sure don’t give no volume! Unless it works on super short hair but sure don’t work on long layers
