I decided to relax my 4c curly after 17 years. I did the top portion with African Pride and the back with Dark and Lovely. The Dark and Lovely tore my hair up and it looked like it was never touched. I have done the gambit of all relaxers from my first Dark&Lovely, TCB, Africa's Best, Ors- Olive oil, to Soft and Beautiful. Each has something i love about it...D&L...have a protein conditioner I love, works well with my hair. But I keep forgetting African Pride-Olive Mriacle, really works well with my hair. I bought the one just for the roots. (TOUCH UP ONLY...IT SAYS IT ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THE BOX, YOU HAVE TO MIX IT AND NO IT DOES NOT COME WITH A MIXING BOWL...YOUR NOT DOING YOUR WHOLE HAIR) JUST THE ROOTS. ... show more
