Big guy here (6 foot 4, 275lbs, wide frame). Ordered these comfort colors shirts in black and white (size 2XL). They have become my new favorite go to shirt. Why? Material: 100% cotton (no synthetics) with a soft feel Fit: Great fit overall, including arm sleeves and neck. Very comfortable, with a nice little weight to the shirt (not thin). Length is awesome. I’m able to put my hands up in the air without my tummy showing. Versatile: Can pair these shirts with jeans as is for a great look or spruce it up a bit more by adding in a jacket on top. I wear them to work, out with friends, and for bowling due to how comfortable it is. Durability: So far the shirts have been held up (2 months in) after multiple washes (wash on cold, dry delicate). I wash the white shirts with detergent and bleach to keep them bright white. Value: Good price point for the shirts vs other brands on/off Amazon Other shirts I’ve liked: I used to wear the True Classic shirts (own 20+), but the quality and sizing has been all over the place with the last few orders. I still have those, but prefer these comfort color shirts due to the comfortable fit, quality, length, and overall value of the shirt. Comfort Colors is an accurate name for these tees because they are beyond comfortable and buttery smooth. The material is on the heavier side but still very breathable and SO soft. The main thing that sets these shirts apart from others is the “vintage fade” look. They are pigment dyed so that makes them softer and gives them their unique coloration. The stitching is done well and sturdy. I made the mistake of purchasing a large at first anticipating some shrinkage but I washed with hot water and dried on high heat and they did not shrink. For reference I am 5’4” and 125 lbs and I am wearing a large in the light green and a medium in the pepper color. I purchased the berry and blue spruce colors as well and the softness, sizing and quality of all of the shirts is consistent. I will be purchasing more— you won’t find a better garment at this price point! I added the berry in medium. Probably my favorite color thus far.

It’s taken me years to understand my body type and fit, and I’ve realized that classic fits are the way to go. For some context, I’m 5’8”, weigh around 180 lbs, semi muscular/athletic but a bit on the stockier side. I dislike shirts that are long, and ones that are tight on the chest. It fits weird and I’ve gone through lots of Ts without understanding these sizing fits. The best and most aesthetically pleasing shirts are the ones that are like inverted triangles, sits well on the shoulders, slightly boxier, and hangs looser towards the chest and waist. I ended up buying 10 of these in a variety of colors. Love the color options, the fabric is “heavy” but it’s more durable and not as thick as Carhart shirts. You don’t see through them, which is great, and they’re surprisingly soft. I really like these shirts, they work well for different occasions. I wear them casually, to work, and for exercises. Perfect with jeans or shorts, with nice shoes. It’s giving Gap simplicity with some refined American Apparel vibes. If you’re someone with broad shoulders and want a well fitting shirt that isn’t tight around the chest, doesn’t extend too long to the point it looks like a dress, and want that effortlessly simple yet versatile look, you found the right shirt.

I tried this shirt after reading a review in The New York Times that it was a "perfect tee-shirt" I will say it's very good for the price - it's a sturdy weight, soft, and well stitched. The fit is a little long for me personally but not too oversized. I might rate it higher if it ages well. So far, good enough to want to try other colors.

Comfort Colors - what a wonderful discovery. These are 100% cotton yet they retain their shape wash after wash. Fabulous colors and great fit. And the price - how can you beat it? People are out there spending big bucks on nice thick cotton T's - well you can't beat these. Highly recommend.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I like the feel of the shirt. The one I received is very long. You'd think I bought big and tall. I loved the color and quality but I don't want a shirt down to my knees so I just cut the bottom after drying and no shrinking. I could have made a small pillow case out of the leftover fabric🤣. Aside from that, good shirt. If you're looking for a good t-shirt that's really long, then this is for you!
