I really like doing braids with this product it smells really good and holds and secures hair for nice tight braids. It doesn't flake or leave any visible residue you just need to brush product thoroughly in hair as you braid. I first came across this product at Walmart. I went back to purchase again but haven't been able to find it at Walmart anymore decided to try Amazon and was so happy when I found it. The price is also very reasonable. I now have this on auto ship.

I love this product because it holds the hair in place nicely and helps natural braids last a couple of days longer. However, it will have your hair looking a bit white if you don't heavily spray your hair with a spray oil after applying it. For best use, spray with hair oil after use and tie your hair up for a few to help absorb the excess oil sprayed in the hair.

It really locks the hair in, but if late my scalp has become extremely irritable after using it. I used it for locks as well on my son’s hair and his scalp got very irritated also. Had to take him tot he dermatologist. ( Cindy)
