I just used this product to twist some of my locs and used my Loc N Gel to twist some of my locs. Both are good products, but AfricanGro gel is a slight bit better. This product gives a stronger hold to the roots of the loc and add shine to the hair. loc N Gel is more tacky with no shine after drying. This products is a few coins cheaper than Loc N Gel. However , Loc N Gel is more widely available on beauty supply stores and no issues with broken or crack containers and doesnt leave residue. I paid the extra fee to have this ship same day, so I could avoid having a broken container. I ended up with two perfect container because it went thru less hands and not thrown around for 2-3 days. One have a few scratches, but no cracks. 2 -16oz containers will last me almost 2 years. Hopefully, I see hair growth and zero residue like people mentioned on the reviews as I continue using this Africangro gel product.

The product itself is great. Smells great, not too greasy and holds decently for the day. The container needs work. It's weak plastic that keeps breaking. This last one I bought arrived broken so I'm going to have to transfer it into another container. The previous container I have is broken as well.

Love the ingredients. Been using this for so long and it’s hard to find in the beauty supply store. I forgot my jar at my cousins house and she used it all and bought herself a new one *eye roll* you only need a little. No flaking or build up. My favorite for retwist. I seen reviews that the big jug was Waxy but mine came just like the smaller size. Will buy again.

I purchased this product lots of times in the past. I was very disappointed this time when it came in the mail with the top off and all over the place. It was shipped with another product and I guess it just got messed up in transit. I think that this product should be shipped by itself. Other than that it is a very good product . I have used it for about two years now and my clients love it. I gave it a 4 star because of how it came in the mail and I can’t use this bottle. But the bottles in the pass was all good. If this had happened one my 1st purchase, I would never buy it again.

I’ve been searching for a loc gel that didn’t have unsafe chemicals and this is it. Not I only safe but it made my loc retwist easy. Not greasy and felt nice on scalp. It actually absorbs. Not sitting on my hair and scalp. This is my new go to.

The media could not be loaded. It didn’t come cracked it came in great condition I ordered this before in the smaller version it was so good I ordered it again double the size I love this product and I will continue to order . If it comes cracked then it probably the way it was handled and delivered other than that mine came in great shape ☺️🤗😂
