I am a 74 year old Grammy and I can't say enough positive things about this product from beginning to end. The packaging was extraordinary and there was not a scratch or dent anywhere; the hardware inventory was complete with not a thing missing (spares are provided and labeled as such); the directions were clear and other than needing help with the weight at various times, I was able to assemble it myself without any problems at all. It feels and looks very strong and the steel fittings make assembly easy and also ensure stability. The price on Amazon was less by far than any other that I could find in my online search. Also, I called customer service before I ordered with a question about the panel on the front of the trundle (it is not raised panel as seen with some other vendors) and to confirm that the ladder could be placed on either the right or left side-it can!). They were very helpful and informative in answering my questions. I highly recommend this product and while we haven't tested the weight limits it has the largest weight limits of any that I could find and it seems to be very sturdy-as well as very good looking. Awesome bed. High quality not a cheaply made bunk bed. It Will allow my kids to grow and use forever. Adults could definitely use this bunk bed it’s sturdy and strong. I love that I can sit up under the bottom bunk with plenty of head clearance and the trundle underneath is great quality as well. Don’t buy the cheap bunk buy this one. ... show more

It was easy to put together. It came in 7 boxes. Each box had a set of directions. There were some dings which we did not see until it was too late to stop putting it together. It seems quite sturdy. We are just waiting for the grandkids to come for a visit.
