This set is amazing!! Very sturdy, quality wood & fit together perfectly with the directions provided. Very glad I decided to go with this set as it is well worth the money! Shipped on scheduled date/time, no pieces missing, no chips/dings in wood, hardware & directions labeled & easily put together. Only thing I wished I would have know is that the under-bed drawers have their own wheels & roll on the floor under the bed, not on their own attached rungs to the bed. I've looked everywhere for the perfect bunk online, offline for more than a yr. I was hesitate to buy a big piece of furniture without touching it, after all it is a big investment for me. I was really skeptical that it might fail me. If you are thinking, well think no more. This bunk is exactly what it looks like, the color is true. It is sturdy, very well made. Packaging, shipping is excellent, right on time, & they even call a day before & 30' before they arrive. It comes in 9 boxes, sorry can't bring into your house, but they leave real close to the door. My husband put it up by himself in about 3 hrs, I helped to lift up the top bunk :). He is quite content & said all the screws are very precise. The draws are huge & they can be pulled out so that you can clean under the bed. I'm very happy, so is my husband although he thought I was insane to buy furniture online without its presence. ... show more

Absolutely horrible!! So many pieces were damaged, scuffed, and chipped. The hardware was atrocious. So many pieces missing or wrong screws indicated In instructions!! Holes didn’t line up on many of the parts! Screws would strip out and not turn. Allen wrenches were soft metal and would strip. One box arrived 2 days late and my guy had to wait to set it up bc it was box #1! Paid for assembly from Amazon but then they credited me bc they said it wasn’t offered in my area. When I called about this to Amazon, they wanted me to pay my guy to come back and disassemble it so I could return it. And then when I threw a fit, they offered to have someone come to disassemble...but couldn’t offer assembly in my area! 🙄 ... show more

This bed is sturdy and made of high quality materials! The bed was easy to put together, time consuming, but easy directions. I love how you can attach the stairs on either side of the bed.     • Missing Hardware, very difficult assembly!

I absolutely love the quality of the bunk bed solid wood frame but the delivery was so sloppy and frustrating it totally made me very disappointed. Hardware seemed to be very detailed within the first box out of the 8 giant very heavy boxes that this bed came in. Very understandable it's a quality bed however, the very detailed instructions and hardware soon turned to NIGHTMARE .. took me 5 hrs to complete this bed with also the help of 2 other men....first we went crazy searching everywhere trying to find the non existent hardware for the base drawers that go at the base of the first bunk... then digging through the mountains of boxes to find no manual until I came across this form that directs you to reach out to the manufacturer directly vs. Amazon. I've placed a claim we will see but for $1000+ for a bunk bed I expected a much smoother assembly and at the very least all of the necessary hardware ... ... show more

    • Awful Customer Service. Great bed quality if we were just given the hardware.

The bed quality is fine. It is good and strudy. Only compaint on that part is tha the stair railing is a little wobbly and unsteady. Customer service however has been awful. We received the bed but with no hardware to go with the drawers under the bed. Contacted Mattress Firm, The told me on a Friday it was being sent out ASAP from the manufacturer. Several days pass, no hardware. Contact Mattress Firm again. They say it was shipped out Wednesday. (6 days after I first contacted). So in the mean time we have a bed with no drawers. Finally receive the hardware 5 days later. It is the hardware for the bed, not the drawers so useless. Look like someone just threw a bunch of screws and bolts in a bag and shipped it. Still cannot put drawers together as none of hardware fits. Contact Mattress Firm again.... They forward me to Atlantic Furniture itself. I sent an email. They emailed backed wanting to know the address it was sent to. I email them back. I have received no reply. This has been a month long deal. Still not resolved. Will not buy from MF or Atlantic Furnitire again. For the $ spent, much better customer service should be met. No one has reached out to apoligize or fix the problem, We have resorted to trying to find hardware for the drawers ourselves. So upset. ... show more
