  • “Easy, Fun, and Delicious—Tomatoes All Year Round!”
Size: 12-pod Style: Mixed Cherry Tomato
I’ve been using the AeroGarden Red & Golden Cherry Tomato Seed Pod Kit for a few months now, and I’m genuinely impressed! The setup was incredibly simple, even for someone with little gardening experience. The pods germinated quickly, and I loved watching the seedlings grow day by day. The kit comes with 12 pods, which is perfect for experimenting with both red and golden cherry tomatoes. The included instructions are clear, and the AeroGarden system makes watering and lighting completely hands-off—no more worrying about forgetting to water or finding the right amount of sunlight. So far, the plants look healthy and vibrant, and I can already see small tomato buds forming. I’m excited about having fresh, juicy cherry tomatoes right in my kitchen! This kit is perfect for beginners and seasoned gardeners alike, especially anyone who loves the idea of growing their own food indoors year-round. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add a little green (and tasty!) fun to their home. ... show more

  • Awesome seed!
Size: 6-pod Style: Red Heirloom Cherry Tomato
I got six seed pod and used three. I started in fall and now it's almost Xmas, and I'm getting a second bloom of flowers and getting a second batch growing! These are really bushy plants, so DONT OCCUPY ALL THE POD SPACES in ur Aero garden, and remember to trim down to 1 plant per pod... It does take a while to grow and ripe. But if you wait for the perfectly vine ripe tomatoes it's better than candy! If your tomatoes are tasteless, chances are they need more time on the vine. The perfectly ripe tomato pops right off the vine. If u have to pull or cut it off the vine, u probably picked too early. I use an old electric toothbrush to pollinate my flowers since I keep it indoors. Don't plant weak plants with these tomatoes, it can't compete with these tomatoes... (Basil seems to be fine tho) ... show more

  • Yummy tomatoes and fun to grow
Size: 6-pod Style: Red Heirloom Cherry Tomato
I know these are a little pricey, but they produce delicious and sweet tomatoes. I start them then plant in the ground. They are bushy full plants that grow a good yield of cherry tomatoes. I have bought these a couple of times and will buy again.

  • Good, but Room For Improvement
Size: 6-pod Style: Red Heirloom Cherry Tomato
I've had an Aerogarden for almost a year and have done two rounds of herbs, took a break, and started on tomatoes. Herbs were alright, but it's frustrating how you eventually run out of space for the plants to grow under the light and ALSO even more frustrating (once I started tomatoes) to see how there's no support for the stalks and they fall over, snap, droop, and generally aren't stable. I liked the taste of the yield well enough--no bitterness, just fresh and organic as a tomato should taste. But I must say that I've had to completely scale off all the leaves and greenery just so the stems will stay upright. Now I just have a bunch of stringy stems with a few tiny tomatoes. I think these plants run their course after 3-4 months, so just keep that in mind. It looked promising for the first three months and then once things got out of hand, I think it was clearly a point of no return. I wish there were support stakes so that the herbs and tomato stems could grow without stress. (I had the same issue with the herbs when they grew tall enough). Long story short, harvest these and don't let your stuff grow beyond the largest height of the light extension. I have the Aerogarden 360 by the way, 6 pods. And having bought several rounds of these pods, I'd suggest always ordering NINE PODS even if your machine takes six. Why? Because not all the pods germinate and I don't want you to be as disappointed as I was waiting on some stalks to sprout that will never happen. Happy growing! :) ... show more

Love my garden however, these took forever to grow and I only revived 3 tomatoes out off all these pods.

  • REALLY expensive tomatoes!
My original review was one star and I said that I was very disappointed in a product made for a 6 pod AeroGarden, costing $15 that consisted of only 3 plants and 3 blanks! Now, after having invested $15 and a lot of time and energy, I'd give less than 1 star if I could!!! I followed the directions religiously only to have the three plants produce exactly 2 small cherry tomatoes before shriveling up and dying! At $7.50 each, these little tomatoes were a very real disappointment. And, yes, I gently brushed the tomato plants to pollinate them. All three got a couple of flowers, but only the 2 red cherry tomatoes actually produced. One tomato each. The AeroGarden was a gift and I was so excited to receive it and now all I feel is guilt that someone I love wasted all that money on an inferior product. I had the same dismal experience when I tried to grow the herbs that came with the original product - everything started out great, but one by one, each and every herb plant shriveled and died. I thought maybe it was me, so I cleaned the container till it was spotless, again following the directions, before "planting" the tomatoes. Same old, same old. Great start, lousy finish. So far the investment is over $125 and I've grown half a cup of basil and 2 small cherry tomatoes. Needless to say, I won't be planting anything else. I bought two violets and since I don't have any sunny place to put them indoors, I now have them sitting on the empty AeroGarden, under the lights. I figure I'll use the lights till they burn out and then just throw the unit away. ... show more
