I love this scooter! It has both a hand brake on the handlebar and a rear wheel brake, which makes it feel much safer and easier to control. It’s very stable and a great size, perfect for a pre-teen or teenager. My son is 9 years old and it fits him perfectly. It’s big, smooth to ride, and the color looks beautiful. The foot deck is nice and wide, so he can stand comfortably, even with both feet together. I got this scooter for my 10-year-old son. He got it and installed by himself very quickly and enjoy the ride within a few minutes. The straightforward instructions made it easy to put together. My son likes this scooter because of its ability to glide effortlessly and quietly across concrete surfaces. The large wheels absorb bumps and cracks with ease, providing a smooth and stable ride that my son thoroughly enjoys. Folding up the scooter makes it easy to put in the back of the car or hold it to go up and down the stairs. The efficient hand brakes offer responsive stopping power, so bring a peace of mind knowing my kid can brake safely whenever needed, especial to a kid who does not like wearing the helmet. The Rock-solid kickstand is strong, no wobbling or tipping over, hopefully my son will get used to using it a lot because I can't stand all the scooters dropped on the grass. This review is about 2 things. First, the scooter is great and our daughter loves it. Perfect for her age and size. Second, great customer service! I sent an email to the address on a card they include in the box after my daughter’s kickstand snapped. Was pretty disappointed after only a couple weeks of use. Pleasantly surprised when they got back to me the same day. Not only that, but with a resolution. Sent me a new kickstand assembly (all the way from China i believe) and i received it with 10 days. Easy to swap out. Customer service is not a strong point for most companies these days. Very impressed with theirs. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The wheels are nice and the scooter cannot be easily folded while driving. The construction is solid and looks nice. My only knock is that the handbrake controls a thin smooth piece of metal that presses against the back wheel to slow down the scooter but this design is not very effective and will only work at low speeds. For an $80 scooter you would think that a disc brake design could be provided. I also worry that the brake setup will wear down the wheel rubber thereby creating an unsafe condition or unusable scooter. As of right now I would still give 4 stars as it gets me from the parking lot at work to the entrance quickly and it’s manual so I don’t have to worry about charging or facility rules on electric devices. Note you will want a lock that goes through the wheels if you plan to Lock it outside. ... show more

    • Everything a Commuter Could Ask For

TLDR: Able to take tons of abuse and won’t fail you. Folding it up is EZ and makes for even easier storage. Use the front brake sparingly to save your wheels from flattening and if you do end up having to buy new wheels, it takes a little while before the new ones rotate smoothly. I’m a full time college student at UNT and i take the train to and from 3 days a week and use it to get around everywhere on campus, and i’ll say this is bad boy won’t let you down. I have ridden on so many downhills going at least 15-20 mph and its held up well. I’ve jumped curbs (even though the warning sign explicitly says NOT to but do what you want), rode it through mud and puddles, slammed it into walls trying to dodge pedestrians, broke the back brake and duct taped it up, and scratched it up and abused this thing way more than i should have. It isn’t electric so uphills suck but its better than spending 7x more money. Get used to the back brake more than the front one though because using the front one can make the wheels flatten since they aren’t disc brakes. Also if you do buy new wheels and they don’t rotate freely just ride it anyway and let friction shave it down for you until it works. It can also drive well along rough surfaces and cracks in the road but try not to avoid scootering near anything the wheels might accidentally get caught up unless you want road rash, goes for all scooters honestly. All that aside this scooter is a well deserved 5/5 product, its fantastic for commuting and easy storage thanks to the folding mechanism ... show more
