This machine absolutely quit working after two months. At first, it was great. After 6 weeks of working great, it started to make very loud noises. It was so loud that I had to turn it off. It wasn’t two weeks after the noise started that the machine would just shut off. Also, towards the end of the machine actually working, we noticed a blue line substance mixed in with our ice. I love this little ice maker. The pellet ice is great. There are only 2 of us that use it, so we don't run out. I fill up the water reservoir once a day and it lasts all day. I only have to fill my cup once (stainless steel type) and the ice lasts all day. The only complaint I have is the opening and the scoop are small. But the ice quality makes up for that. Ice maker stopped working in the first month. Started making a screeching noise and then shut off. Tried to use the protection plan we purchased and was told the ice maker was still under manufacturer warranty. Having a difficult time with Amazon to replace. Design of ice maker is poor. Tray pops out if full, difficult to get ice without making a water mess, ice sometimes prevents the tray from closing. Had much better luck with cheaper ice maker. I was so disappointed when this didn’t work after initial setup. Got in touch with their customer service. Let me say - they are awesome. They were able to troubleshoot the issue and walked me thru an easy fix. It only took about 15 minutes of my time and it’s now working great. So much better than having to mess with a return and replacement. I would buy again. My customer service rep was awesome and answered my emails quickly. It makes ice pretty fast. ... show more

    • DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ICE MAKER
I wanted to love this ice maker, however it’s actual crap. Not long after I purchased it, it started making a squeaking noise when it was making ice. Now, after less than 4 months it has completely stopped working. It has power and water but will not make ice. After contacting customer service I get a reply that the return time for this product is 1 month after purchase. Guess I just learned a $200 lesson. What ever you do, skip ordering from this company.     • Stopped working after 5 months.
Worked for about 5 months and now it won't stay on. Clean amd emptied several times and it might work for 1 day after that and then it starts turning off again after 10 minutes or so.

Haha I wonder who did actually design this ice maker but here we go ...... First the compartment where the ice lands has zero insulation yes it will continually produce more ice but that's pretty wasteful. In the bottom the ice will melt turn into water again and freeze again. When you turn the Machine off and decide to turn it on after 3 days or so than you need to drain the water first because it will taste nasty stale otherwise. When you than actually try to drain and you have it hooked up to a water line it will refill the water reservoir even the machine is turned off so in order to actually drain the stale water you need to unplug the stupid thing. Just think about that who did design this nonsense. Not even talking about the fact that you can not easily clean the water compartment to begin with. Well it won't last long I bet and thatight be a good thing in this case lol . ... show more
