It does start pumping out ice just a few minutes after turning it on, which is really impressive. I like that it has a light inside that you can turn on or off, as it makes it look a lot nicer. The included scoop makes it easy to get ice out of, and it's the nice 'nugget' style that people seem to like. Putting it in drinks works but it seems to melt almost instantly, due to the size/composition. It does cool the drinks down, but don't expect to have ice in your glass forever, even inside of an insulated cup.

I use this ice maker every day! It makes the soft nugget ice. The first batch it makes after you turn it off does take a little long to make but after the first it comes out pretty fast. Does not make that much noise it’s pretty quiet.
