  • Amazing customer service!
We'll have to admit... This might have been probably my best experience on Amazon with an Amazon product. A couple of the panels in a couple places were scratched and I went to Home Depot to get touch up paint but I couldn't really get it to match very well. And I wasted like 20 bucks at Home Depot on a quart of paint. So I reached out to the supplier and immediately they refunded me $30. That was amazing. So I was able to cover the expense of the paint... In addition to that in the process of trying to match the pain and get some touch-up paint from Home Depot unsuccessfully I lost one of the pieces on the doors. I was using that for my paint match... And I reached out to him and they sent me a replacement free of charge. That was amazing too. So customer service with these guys is absolutely amazing. The best I've ever experienced. With that being said as far as the product itself I got the 10x14... And yeah everything was pretty self-explanatory. The only thing that I think was a little annoying was having to peel the plastic off of all the sheets but you know... Comes with the territory and I would have had more scratches obviously if there was no plastic on the steel sheets. The only complaint I have about the design is because the design is great no problems at all except for one thing... That is the ridge cap. I think the ridge cap should be screwed to the top in the middle not just on the ends. I think it should be put on as you put the roof on... Because the way they have it you put the left side of the roof on and the right side or vice versa and then when that's all up you take the roof cap slide it on the top and connect it on the ends. But I live in Florida We have hurricanes out here and I'm sure if you're anywhere you going to have winds every once in awhile in four screws two on each end is not going to hold that riidge cap. So I was able to go down to the hardware store and I got roofing screws the kind with the rubber seals on them that are I think like an inch and a half long that are self tapping screws and I was able to get some in about 5 ft in from the edge. I was able to reach in from each edge that was about as far as I could reach in. But I felt like having those on there there's probably a good chance I won't lose the rich cap if there's a severe storm. Because once you put the roof left and right panels on, You can't reach the middle of the roof unless you have some type of scaffolding that you could put over the top of the roof and crawl on to get to the center of the roof. So if you are going to use your own screws to screw down the ridge cap in the center I would suggest adding the ridge cap after you add one side and then putting the screws in and adding the ridge cap as you add the left side of the roof... But the instructions you assemble the entire ridge cap from front to back and then slide it on there. So that would be my only design issue. The other issue I have is in addition to the scratches that were on their minor scratches I scratched a couple times myself which is really easy to do because the pain is really thin. And all I kept thinking is I'm down in Florida lot of salt water in the air and I had another shed that rusted really fast I just wanted to make sure that every scratch mark was covered up... The only suggestion I had for them is that I think with the color that they have they should offer a spray can for touch up. They should have a little tiny aerosol paint spray can for scratches that matches the paint exactly. Now that would be amazing! So outside of the ridge cap design issue and a lack of being able to match up touch up paint those are my only issues. But after they refund in $30 because of the scratches and then sent me an extra piece when they didn't have to for the bottom of the door instantly by the way, company became my new favorite company. And I do have and I will be buying another one for the other side of the yard another properties so I'm definitely going to stick with them because the customer service they are the real deal. And in the future designs well I think the next show is going to be shorter ridge camp This one was just really long I'll definitely keep that ridge cap issue in mind as I put on the next roof. All in all they get five stars for sure... ... show more

  • Nice inexpensive shed
Color: Gray Size: 7' x 7'
I shopped around and read a lot of reviews before buying this shed (I got the 7ft x 7ft). It's a good value and I'm pretty happy with it. Reading the other reviews helped set my expectations and prepared me for how to successfully put it together. There are some challenges/negatives with this shed, but it's probably not going to be much different from any other shed of this type. This is definitely more advanced than an Ikea furniture build. The shed was delivered in two boxes on different days. The heaviest box was 80 lbs, and not too large but quite long about 7ft. The first thing I did was open the boxes up, make sure everything was there, read the instructions. Almost all the pieces come with infuriating plastic wrap that is hard to take off. I recommend taking the wrap off the large tapered pieces ahead of time, that took me about 2 hours. It is nearly impossible to avoid cutting your fingers on the sharp metal edges when taking the plastic off, be very careful. The straight pieces are not as difficult and we did those as we built the shed. There are also about a hundred screws that you have to put plastic washers on, so do that ahead of time. Even with the packaging and plastic there were some pieces bent, dented or scratched. Generally minor, most could be fixed by bending back by hand, scratched parts put on sides less visible. The metal is a very light gage and won't stand up to much abuse, as long as it's out of the way and you don't plan to run into it with things it will do the job. I built a 7x7 raised level wood floor out of treated wood since this area was sloping. Basically just a raised deck with plywood. A concrete pad or compacted decomposed granite would be good also. The manufacturer says to install on a perfectly level surface, which nothing is ever perfect. Do your best. Just make sure to come up with a plan to anchor it down from wind to your base, no anchors are provided with the kit. I built the shed in about 8 hours in one day with the help of my teenage daughter. That was with the pad already done, and pre-preparation mentioned above. For best results you will need: 2 philips screwdrivers, with magnetic bit Step ladder Drill with 1/16" or 5/64" metal bit for screws that don't fit, plus other sizes as needed for anchors you provide Ratchet wrench with 11/32" bit Measuring tape Level Magnetic tray for holding screws Screws and anchors for the base The first step is laying out the base rails, which don't have any anchor holes. The kit comes with some corner brackets each with one small anchor hole. That's not enough in my book so I drilled screw holes along the inside of the base rail about 18" on center. Put the base rails down on the pad where you want it (keeping in mind the roof has an overhang), measure the diagonals to be sure it is square, and put one screw per side to hold it in place. Also it's a good time to find the bottom door metal angles and check to make sure when the doors swing open they won't hit something. The instructions say to put the corner brackets on, but I recommend putting them on at the very end since they will bend the base rails out of alignment. For the rest of the build follow the instructions, have one person getting the parts ready taking plastic off, and one person screwing things together with the other person holding things where needed. The instructions say to put the roof supports together on the ground then lift it and put it on. If you do that, keep the fasteners loose until it is in place and well lined up. We built it in place on top and not on the ground, works either way. The roof panels were difficult to install. Probably the top frame was not square, even though we tried our best to adjust things it was a struggle to line up all the screw holes. There were several panels where I had to drill a new hole, which worked fine in the end. The doors were another challenge as they did not fit up well. Other people posted about this issue as well. Basically the doors and jambs don't have a way to adjust things. I spent another 2 hours the following day trying to fix it and got it marginally working. I tried a lot of things, including flipping the doors, bending the braces, adjusting hinges and screws. One of the doors is too low to shut without lifting it up over the base rail, and the doors bind together where they meet. I decided its good enough for infrequent use. It would take more serious surgery and taking more things apart to really get it right. If the the mfr reads this review, please add some slotted holes to the ends of the door braces, set the door jambs further apart, raise the door up above the base rail, and set the door handle in the vertical middle of the door so it can be flipped to the other side. Also you need to provide instructions for how to install the door handle. After it was put together I finished screwing the base rails down and installed the corner brackets with heavier screws at the corners. I ran a bead of exterior silicone around the base to keep water from running in. Added foam weather strip along the gap between the door and the jamb. Installed two battery LED motion lights on the ceiling beam. We had a pretty good multi-day rain storm since it was done and a little water came in around the base from rain driven up under the panels - but the shed is largely dry. I might add a bead of silicone around the interior base of the panels also. As long as you keep moisture sensitive stuff off the floor it should be fine. ... show more

  • Easy to assemble
Color: Dark Grey Size: 6' x 4'
Easy to assemble, picture directions, every piece is plainly marked. It's light, but it is sturdy enough for storage bins. I'm very happy with it..shipping was too high($80), and it took a little longer to get to me..but, my elderly friend and myself ,I just held the end as she screwed it together..put this together, so I know everyone who buys this will be tickled to death! I highly recommend this item! ... show more

  • Buyer beware - Not sturdy and feels scammy if you need to return!
Fragile, not as sturdy as the description says. This shed would be OK in an area that is covered by another structure. I purchased this in November of 2024 and it collapsed after one snowfall in Michigan with just a few inches of snow on the roof. I followed the instructions front to back. Took 2 guys about 3 days to do it, but would have been much faster if we hadn't taken the time to peel the plastic shipping protection off - which every single piece has. Also, the doors and lock felt very flimsy and felt like someone could break into it with little to no effort if they wanted to. Very disappointed in the quality and sturdiness. Was hoping to receive a partial refund from the seller, but when I heard back, their only offer was to replace the pieces that were bad, but I would have to ship those back. It would have cost $200 to do that, and the shed would just collapse next winter. Feels like a scammy seller to me. They probably know that most buyers will not pay to return pieces to have them replaced. I would advise avoiding this shed unless you have a good place for it to be with coverage against any kind of snow or strong winds. Do yourself a favor and get something built out of wood. It might cost you a bit more upfront, but take it from me - I went this route and am now out $800. ... show more
