Great size, very soft, and actually does not shed all over clothing and furniture, which was surprising. Unfortunately, the color was not at all as described - I ordered “cream white” thinking it would be an off white or ivory, and the color of this item would be much better described as beige or tan. The photo shows this item next to another blanket that is actually a cream white color (not bright white, just an off white or light ivory). It’s much darker than expected and I will probably be returning it for this reason. I was also very disappointed in the smell of this item upon opening it. There was a VERY strong odor that I can only describe as similar to the smell of very old chap-stick or rancid vegetable oil. It dissipated a bit after washing, but I can still pick up whiffs occasionally. ... show more

This is beautiful and it gets 5 stars but, if I were going to order it again I would go up in size because the throw size is small. It barley lays across the full size bed, It is a perfect shoulder wrap but it is not big enough to be a decorative throw on a bed in the 40x50 size.
