This product was such a great hit with my 4 year old. He has been so excited to open it each day to see what creature he gets. Each creature is so cute and well done. I would definitely recommend this product; however, my only complaint is that some of the creatures have pieces that do not stay on very well- so if you have a child that wants to play with them, like mine, just keep in mind that some have pieces that pop off easily. I was able to fix some by super gluing the pieces together but other than that, such a great advent calendar!

I bought two for my kids and received boxes that are identical on the outside, but have different animals / insects inside - there have been no repeats, even box to box. Compared to the brand name brick advents, this requires more actual assembly vs. opening and getting one minifigure - a plus for us. My 8 and 10 year old look forward to opening these every day, are excited about assembling them and I feel good about the little bit of mental exercise they are getting assembling these on their own. You open the window and instructions are provided inside the daily baggie with the needed bricks inside. We have had no missing pieces - we have received ours with a few extra pieces in the bag some days. At around $25 I would definitely purchase this again - especially if different editions come out each year to minimize repeats.

My son was super excited with this advent calendar, but we’ve had a few pieces that couldn’t attach appropriately and had to go dig through our bucket of Legos to find a replacement piece.

I have a Lego-obsessed 9yr old and this advent calendar did not disappoint. She enjoyed the surprise each day - it was a nice mix of animals, insects and dinosaurs. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. No missing pieces :)

Most of the builds were both cute and we'll designed a few didn't seem quite as "resolved" like the squirrel. But they were all fun and used standard pieces that could either be replicated to make multiples of the animals or broken down and added to a Lego box
