They are what as advertised. You will have to change side marker lights out from amber to red.

I received them and they were what I expected. I mounted them on the same plate that the old lights were installed on. The only issues I had were the side marker lights had to be swapped out from amber to red. To the seller, amber lights do not belong on the rear of the trailer, they have to be red. Not a problem as I had some in stock. The only other issue I see is the cutouts out for the lights are a little too large and the lights can move around once installed. They did save me a ton of time fabricating mounts. I would purchase them again if I need them.

Quality Enclosure, Mediocre Lighting

The housing is great, very well built. It does not have any mounting holes, so be prepared to drill some holes. I ordered the Red/Red version, and even though the photos don’t show it, it does come with the license plate light. The lights are mildly bright, and I have a sneaking suspicion they won’t last too long based off of their build quality. But they’ll get the job done for now. Overall, you can’t beat this set for the price.

Very Bright LED Lights with Strong Steel Housings

I installed these Nilight LED tail lights on my utility trailer, and I'm very impressed with the quality. The LED lights are extremely bright and highly visible, and the steel housings are strong and sturdy. The heavy-duty construction makes them a great choice for a utility trailer. I'm very satisfied with how they turned out and would definitely recommend them to anyone building or upgrading a trailer.

Great lights but you will need to know a few things

These are a great replacement for the standard plastic ones that break every time I bump into them. However, they don't come with license plate lights. I bought a pair of led lights that replace the license plate mounting bolts. They cost me $7 and work perfectly. These trailer light assemblies are shipped with the lights already installed in the boxes. You will want to remove them to drill mounting holes or to weld them in place. There are no instructions for light removal. It's easy but counterintuitive. Push the light into the hole, then pull it back through the hole sideways. Careful to push at the edges of the lense where it is strongest. You might need to peel back the edge of the gasket a little to help get it to slip through the hole. Follow the printed instructions later for install. Also, get some 3/4 inch grommets to line the wiring holes. Drill your mounting holes and a small hole in the bottom of the box to let water drain out. Best to mount the box, install grommet and light gaskets, pull the trailer wires into the box, make all connections to lights inside the box with lights hanging loose and wires running through gasket lined holes, don't forget to run your license plate light wires into the box too, and then pop the lights in. This gives a clean, protected termination.
