Let's be clear I have this to measure diameters of stuff with no critical accuracy requirements. It is easy to use and was of low cost making this product perfect for my intended use. It is easy to switch from metric to imperial and the dial provides good contrast and is easy to read. The power button is read making it easy to see and press to save battery life. For me, due to the low cost, it is great to have this tool around and not have to worry about dirt and grime impacting the accuracy because I dont need it for high accuracy. That is not to say it is inaccurate! Yes we have another more expensive one that gets the treatment going in and out of its case once in a blue moon when high accuracy is needed. I just have not checked it for accuracy of it's fractions.

This product is pretty accurate and so far I'm impressed. If I was working in the field I would say these are very good and accurate. At the price point if they got destroyed it would not be the same as losing a $200 instrument. For my purposes they check out as very accurate. After 6 months is when we will find out how good they are.

I did not purchase this for an industrial or craftsman purpose but it is good and it feels good to quantize everything in your life if you want to be explicit. I've used this in the workshop for fixing my motorcycle doing measurements of what tread is left on the tire. I've even used the depth gauge to align the rear wheel on my motorcycle when adjusting my chain length. I've also used this caliper to get a sense of the dimensions of products on the internet so I'm not surprised by how small or big they are for measuring a broken home appliances and purchasing the correct fittings for hoses and such. So many uses only limited by your imagination and your desire to quantize the world around you.

As advertised and works well for smaller measurement needs to 6" or 1500 mm. Supports internal dimension and external dimension measures. Easy to read digital output. The *only* "shortcoming in comparison to other calipers that I've noticed is there is no thumb dial to adjust the slider. It is a simple slide with a thumb grip. I don't find this to be a big deal but it is bit different that more expensive calipers. Would buy again.

It does it's job. Specifically wanted the plastic jaws so it doesn't mark up what I'm measuring. It is pretty accurate for most any jobs. It obviously isn't going to be machinist quality but that isn't what it is made (or priced) for.

Works great but I've had some occasions where the unit will remain on. It goes Auto On when you move the slider as you start to measure. Doesn't seem to time out and shut off so you need to watch that.

It does what it is supposed to do but it is very small and flimsy. Kind of cheap as the price reflects. I will keep it and buy a stainless steel one with bigger reaching jaws. The jaws only reach out about 1.25"inches. I need something that reaches out possibly 2"inches. Like I said, it measures correctly but it is plastic and cheap. What can you really expect for the price?

At measuring .75 shows .74 also to the moons that say that it brakes after a couple weeks or months. It is not a magic tool. It runs on something called a battery. if the display starts freaking out just like a lot of other electronics do when the battery voltage drops to low . it would mean that you need to get off your but and put new battery in it . not say it is broken
