In an era of loudly-patterned dog collars, this monochrome black dog collar set against our Rottweiler's black fur evokes pure class by effectively disappearing against its furry backdrop. Wonderfully uncomplicated and understated, it's no less well-made than boutique pet store offerings, and mercifully avoids incorporating any visually disruptive manufacturer logos. That said, our baby is 100 pounds of imminent, explosive action: On walks, we absolutely harness her -- it's safer for her and her neck, and we wouldn't trust this or any latch collar to endure extreme tension without snapping. Only used for two months on an indoor dog. The color faded almost immediately and the ring that you hook the leash to pulled in half easily and my dog got loose. Only a 30 day window for returns so a total waste of money

This was my second one bought in two weeks time, roughly. The only time my dog wears it is to walk out the back door to the gate outside. The plastic piece that adjusts the collar size broke on both. I thought maybe he was too rough on the first one, not sure what happened. But the second collar did the same thing - adjustable plastic piece broke in half after having it less than 3 weeks. It hasn’t needed adjusted more than the one time, I’m not sure why it continues to break. ... show more
