I've always wanted something like this and having a 25lb max set is a good starter set for a compact space (basement). It is super easy to turn and get the weight you want. You hear the engagement of the click more than feel it. I do wish they would have labeled the sides of each level so you can see how much weight you have on it. The grips are good and grippy and haven't torn after multiple use. I had my kids try out the adjustment and they were able to use it pretty well as well so that makes it easy enough for a person of any age or skill to use.

With a newborn at home being able to find some time to go to the gym is next to impossible. I decided to review this adjustable dumbbell as I never go above 25lbs with dumbbells and it’s adjustable so that I can warm up with some lighter weight. Since this dumbbell is adjustable it is a little awkward to get used to so be aware. Overall with it being a single dumbbell and adjustable I would recommend it as it will come out cheaper than buying multiple sets of different weight dumbbells and takes up less space while feeling comparable in quality.

I'm a little skeptical with adjustables but this has proven to be quite sturdy. I havent had any issues with the weights detaching which was an issue with a previous set I own. The weight holder is a little on the flimsy side but the dumbbell itself does wonders. Does not take up space ,but it does pack a punch. I've had tennis elbow for 3 months so this is my weight for squats using both hands until my arm is secure, there is a pamphlet with suggested work outs that came included. I would like to try when arm is in better health. For now I work out while in front of the TV in my livingroom at a leisurely pace

Weights are a big pain if you want a home gym. They're expensive, they're bulky, they get in the way- but you need a lot of them to do a balanced workout. A set of these (though they're sold separately) totally replaces every single dumbbell from 5 to 25 pounds at 5 lb intervals (5,10,15,20,25 lbs) by being adjustable from within their plastic base. They adjust quickly and easily, and aren't too unstable while in use at different weights- MUCH better than clunky cheaper adjustable weights that you have to manually load weight on and off. Great stuff!

These are fantastic, they came no problem. I like to do single lifts, so this was great to have a dumbbell that I can adjust. Good quality, I can trust it, good amount of weight as well. I recommend it.

A real pile of junk. This dumbell came fully assembled minus the screw on the end. When I lifted the dumbell up for the first time all of the weights on one end went free falling to the floor and all of the weights on the other end stayed in my hand. If it had fallen on my foot I'd be in the hospital right now for broken toes and feet.It seems as though the screw was not even in the box. It didn't seem like it was used or returned so I can only imagine the factory sent it out missing the screw. This thing could have definitely hurt some kid or fallen or my dog if she had been next to me. As bad as that is the dumbell also does not work now that it seperated. Even if I can get it back right it still does not have a screw on the end rendering it a danger to anyone who might pick it up. I might have a machine screw lying around but I'm not sure it will ever work right because it has to go together in the one way it goes together. Plus there is no immediate way of knowing if it is damaged internally or defective in some other way.

I like that you can dial in to which weights you want. Easy to use, sturdy. The weights you don't use stay in place in the stand. Each weight fits in the stand perfectly, no loose weights strewn about my small gym room. Highly recommend.
