When a product of this type is ordered, the seller needs to list the number of turns per inch on the threading. For example, if it is listed as 5/8 female and 1/4 male, it also needs to include the thread count per inch. Without that information, you have to assume that the thread count is what you are looking for. This adapter DID NOT have the proper thread count that I needed. Standard listings everywhere for this adapter are 5/8-27 female, and I was looking for a 5/8-11 female adapter. I personally would never buy these adapters again, without the thread count. I had to throw this adapter away...couldn't use it with my tripod. ... show more
