I first wore Adidas racing and training running shoes in the mid-1960's. I trained and raced with Adidas shoes through high school and college. Adidas became may choice of casual wear shoes from the middle of the last century to today. While Nike became the first company (to my knowledge) to sell a running shoe-hiking boot hybrid the Adidas offerings have been mostly fabulous (if you buy the premium offerings). This particular leather hiking shoe fits well and performs as expected (met my high expectations). As a warehouse worker/delivery driver for UPS, this is hands down the best pair of boots I could find. I’ve tried multiple brands- Nike, Under Armor, Timberland and now Adidas. The is the most supportive, comfortable boot I‘ve worn. Having suffered a sprained ankle in the past, this was all a major concern. They have the thickest upper with a quality leather cover on top of a quality anti-slip Traxion sole. Fully waterproof so washing trucks is a breeze and now one less worry.
