This is an excellent product overall. I read some reviews before buying, suggesting to go a half-size bigger because these run small and being abroad it was my main concern to decide whether to buy or not in my usual size because I would not be able to try this model in my country nor to return them if that is the case. I used different types of Adidas shoes for different sports (football, cross-training, mtb, running) and most of the time I buy 9.5 US hence I was hesitant on buying these and have smaller shoes that definitely will be a problem to wear so I went for a size 10 US, it turned out to be slightly big for me, I assume that a 9.5US would fit perfect as other Adidas shoes I own. What I'm doing now is to wear an additional insole and the shoes fit better now. No big deal. Adidas might recently adjusted their sizing in different branches according to the sport so in any capacity, make the effort to try the specific model or similar and if that is not possible go for the average size based on previous Adidas shoes you already own. ... show more

They look awesome, but need some time to break in. My feet were sore the first few times I wore them. Also, they are much more comfortable when worn with thick wool socks. They passed the waterproof test as well. I intentionally stepped in big puddles and my feet never got wet. Good boots in my opinion. ... show more

Adidas typically runs just a bit narrow, but even going half a size up didn't help with these because the hard rubber that provides waterproofing goes up the side and where it stops cause an uneven seem on the side of the foot which together with the narrowness of the shoe causes pain after just a bit of walking. Also, the hard plastic where the lace holes are pushes into the top of the foot, which also makes the show uncomfortable. I've only worn them about 6 times so I don't know if they will break-in, but given the discomfort I doubt I'll be able to wear them enough to get there and don't really know if they would break in given the hard pieces of material in the shoe. Walked my dogs on a wet golfcourse daily for 3 months with these. I loved these shoes when i first got them and still do. When they fell apart in month 3 i bought shoeglue but it just wont stay together. Im considering a cobbler because theyre so comfortable but they just wont hold together.

So I wear Adidas all the time. Tennis, golf, casual, running. Always size 12. These in a 12 felt a bit snug in the toe. I returned them and ordered a 12.5. My best guess is that the Gore-tex lining, when added to the shoe, is added to the inside dimension, taking up inside space. The result is that there is just a bit less room. This means, if i am right, that the shoe will be a bit snug when compared to a non-Gore-tex shoe. Past that, these rock. Comfortable. Waterproof as advertised. I am scratching my head at the negative reviews. I mean, seriously, they would not be waterproof if you submerge them in water deeper than the shoe is high, right? So be smart when wearing them - and you will be fine. They feel when on very much like sorta standard everyday "running style" sneakers. ... show more
