This little stick welder is a really amazing product for the price and what it can actually do. it came packaged well reeking of that smell you get from products made is places we won't mention here. I had some 1/8 welding rod from Harbour Freight and manages to stick together some mild steel in a fashion that didn't look too bad within a few minutes of fiddeling with the knobs. did a small section of mild steel 1/4 in scrap I had in the shed with no preheat and the peices stuck and the bead looks okay. A little finickey to strike an arc, but it's a machine for small projects that costs less than a bill. Perfect for small home projects or light work. I am pretty impressed with this little tool.

I have been a welder my whole life and this little machine amazed me. I used a 7018 1/8" rod and had to turn it down, it was so simple to assemble and you just plug and weld, without all the noise of a big machine. Performed great and is a great value for your buck.

I found this to be a solid welding unit. It's great for occasional light welding. The unit has some weight to it, but it's still easily moved to where you need it.

I have been welding for about 15 years and I have used hundreds of machines over the years. This machine started out being one of my favorites. Unfortunately, one day the settings got stuck between 30 and 97 no matter what sequence of buttons I hit. I even reached out to the company for help, and they sent a generic response referring to the manual that was no help. I have always been good at troubleshooting machines, but this is a dud!

This little machine is pretty good for small jobs with thin metal. It can run 6 minutes at a time and then you have to let it cool down for a few minutes. I find it really easy to use and pack away. It fits right back into the factory box for storage. It comes with a little wire brush and hammer. The welder arrived really fast and without any damage to the packaging. I have put it through its initial paces and it held up well. I am going to really push it here soon on this project I got lined up and I'll see what it can really handle.
