Remember those giant parachutes you used to play with in elementary school? This is exactly that, and exactly as described! Sturdy enough to survive kindergarteners, and big enough to let maybe half a class participate at a time means it's a little easier to guide and direct them. If you're grabbing it for an occasional party or kids activity, it's great. For a classroom or PE, perhaps a little small because it only has 18 handles.

It's big, bright and wonderfully flappy! It's sturdy, with lots of little sections of color that my kids were immediately excited by. It's a lot of fun to bring out whenever there are a few kids around. It's got plenty of durable handles and it can take some seriously aggressive play. It's well sewn and I expect it will last us years. It does come with a little bag...but unless you are a professional parachute folder upper, I can't see how to get it back inside. It's easier for us just to use a different larger bag, like a duffle. There weren't instructions on how to fold it and honestly, it's not something I want to take a lot of time to do, so it's just kind of haphazardly folded up enough to put away. It hasn't tangled up or anything. I think it's a good value for the money for the amount of people that can use it at once and will last for many family functions, classes, etc. I plan to bring it to use at vacation bible school and other group activities throughout the summer. I really like how this parachute has all the rainbow colors, which is so nice for Physical Education games. But, this chute ripped after only being used once for our Field Day. The material is not the same as other parachutes and not as durable.

I put this parachute into the hands of a combined 5&6th grade teacher in a local, rural elementary school. Here is what she said about it: “The parachute is huge! The colors are vibrant. My class of 13 5/6 graders plus myself were able to use and manipulate the parachute with ease. The quality doesn’t feel like it will last a long time, but only time and use can tell. The bag is much too small to fit the parachute back into, even when folded. The kids loved the initial activities.”

This Activejoy- Rainbow Parachute is a wonderful toy for any active large group of children. It is very striking with its bright rainbow colors. It is lightweight, and billows in the breeze very nicely, but also appears to be sturdy. Stitching is nicely done and the handles feel comfortable and durable. Pay attention to how it comes folded because it is a real chore getting it into the storage bag. Due to its 20-foot size, this Activejoy- Rainbow Parachute allows many children to participate in group play. The parachute play also encourages shy children to participate. The play also can vary greatly. It can be simple parachute billowing, or light balls can be tossed about, or it can be used for any number of various fun activities. This is great for parties, family get-togethers, and to keep any gathering of kids active.
