I was honestly skeptical because of the price, but I followed directions (personally I soaked in hot water, wrung out, then into the dryer medium heat for about 40 mins) and they expanded perfectly. The 2” Is definitely the way to go, they have a nice dense feel to the and immediately felt / heard a difference in echo / noise. They don’t smell chemically after soaking / drying either. They look amazing and was the perfect addition to my pod / stream setup. 10/10!

After seeing mixed reviews I was definitely skeptical. It works for its purpose for sure. The adhesion is not great, but everything else worked out well. There was no smell, not that I could notice, and installation was very easy, I’d just suggest using another kind of adhesive maybe spray. It looks really good put up, and when it came to expansion, it was mostly expanded almost soon as I opened it. There were a few of them that needed to be teased but they worked out well

The padding works great and creates a great studio quality environment and sound. The only problem I had was with the double sided tape provided. They don’t stick well and I would recommend buying a roll of double sided tape instead of the tape given.

Great quality. Easy to install. They have lowered the noise level for upstairs neighbor. I did not have any trouble with all of them expanding to size. I bought spray adhesive as an extra precaution, however it was not needed. I used 5 dots for each tile & they are staying in place. Photo shows halfway through install.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. it has a major flaw that renders the entire product completely useless. they give you clear sheets of double-sided tape circles to apply to the panels (check photo), and the other side of the tape is protected by a white paper sphere. the white paper WILL NOT come off the tape. its supposed to be a protective cover, but it is actually attached to the adhesive itself, and thus impossible to remove without tearing the adhesive in half. its shocking that the people who made this awful product didnt realize this insanely obvious flaw. if you buy this product, you will be wasting your money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Product worked really well and it can be dyed to change the color from hot pink to Red and glued directly to the ceiling using carpet, glue or vinyl glue

This product worked perfectly for reducing noise between apartments. I'm on the first floor so I put them on the ceiling. Additionally if use the sticky dots with this you may have to restick a few but not all of them.
