Good machine for beginners Review: I have used it a few times now and so far I like it. Setup took a little time, but it was not too hard if you follow the instructions. I am still new to laser engraving, so I wanted something simple to start with, and this one has been good for that. The engraving result looks pretty nice and the lines come out clear. I use it for small projects and it does what I need. So far it has been running well and I have not had any big problems with it. Overall, I think this is a good starter machine and worth buying if you are just getting into laser engraving.

If you’re getting into laser engraving for the first time or testing out a small side hustle, this feels like a practical starting point without being overwhelming. It comes mostly pre-assembled, so I didn’t have to deal with complicated setup or wiring. I was able to go from unboxing to actually engraving something pretty quickly, which makes a big difference if you’re new to this kind of equipment. Performance-wise, it punches above its weight. The laser does a good job producing clean, detailed engravings, especially on wood and leather. I’ve been able to get sharp lines and decent detail on smaller designs like coasters, tags, and simple custom pieces. It also supports a wide range of materials—wood, acrylic, leather, plastic, and more—which gives it a lot of flexibility for different projects. The compact working area is both a strength and a limitation. It’s perfect for small items and keeps the machine portable and easy to store, but it does mean you’re not going to be working on larger pieces without repositioning.

The machine assembly is very convenient, and it can be done in a few minutes according to the instructions. The power of 6000mW is enough for daily engraving patterns on wooden boards, leather or acrylic. Although the size of 130x130mm is not large, it is just right for making some keychains, small ornaments or DIY gifts. The software compatibility is also good, and the threshold for getting started is low. It is recommended for friends who want to play DIY.

My boys have been asking for a laser engraver, so here we are. It’s incredibly user‑friendly and fun to experiment with, even for a group of teenagers. No complaints at all. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do and makes for a great parent‑child activity. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend this to beginner , key feature is the 6w lazer module. Usually, the entry level laser is about 2w, it will do the job, but wont cut thick wood board. 6w will get the job done. the included 2mm spacer is good to start with, once you get your hands on the engraver, you can remove the lense cap and cut your own spacer, ~ 1 inch, so that you can monitor the progress of your engraving. Make sure wearing the included glass though. I am thinking about to upgrade to the pro version, a lot of fun with the machine.
