I finally got this engraver after searching for something within budget, and I’m really impressed. It did take me a little time to figure out the software installation, but that was on me—I had forgotten to plug in the connector to the laser head (2nd photo). Once I followed the manual carefully, everything went smoothly. I tested it on the small wood slice that came in the package, and it worked perfectly. The engraving was sharp and accurate, just like advertised. The only thing to keep in mind is that it does create a pretty strong burning smell while working, so you’ll want to have a window open or use it outdoors for good ventilation. The machine itself feels solid and is easy to operate once set up. For the price, the features and performance are outstanding. If you want a reliable engraver without spending a fortune, this is a great choice. I’d definitely give it 5 stars!

I’m completely new to laser engraving.It came almost fully assembled, which was a huge relief. I only had to attach the laser head (literally a 1-minute job), and it was ready to go. The build quality is solid and lightweight, so it fits perfectly on my small desk setup at home.I’ve been using it to engrave names and simple graphics on wood coasters and cut through thin acrylic sheets for keychains and small signs. I was surprised by how fast and clean the cuts were. It’s also compatible with both LightBurn and LaserGRBL, and I had no trouble setting it up with my laptop.
