Update on product now received and assembled (my previous review was with regard to delay in shipment and issues with NSD (shipper)): loved the bed. It arrived in pristine condition. No missing parts, no scratches, no breakage. NSD delivery people are actually much, much nicer than their customer service support. So, they had no problem putting it into my bedroom. Assembly instructions are not super easy. It doesn't explain at what distance the support rails supposed to be positioned. Let's just say if you are used to assembling IKEA simple stuff, this one would be a headscratcher to a layperson. But bed is assembled and looks great. Now, attention short people and especially those that like to roll in bed or in their sleep... This bed (+your mattress) are super high from the ground. Be ready to have a stool or a short ladder to climb... And should you roll and fall, it will be a long way down... ... show more

First I'll state the positives: This is a tall Queen bed with plenty of storage. You've got the headboard storage and drawers in the sides and footboard. It took my husband about an hour to put it all together. The gray "wood" looks nice. The first delivery was a freight truck that brought several busted up boxes and a damaged headboard. I called Acme who flatly said I had to go through Amazon for a new headboard. Amazon was much more helpful. The had another truck bring my delivery on a pallet with all boxes intact. Now the not so good. I'd read a lot of good reviews about Acme which was why I ordered this bed. It boasts wood construction with veneers. Let me tell you, the bed is wood, particle board and veneer. While it feels solid and sturdy when I climb onto the bed from my step box, it has begun to creek a bit (I'm overweight, but...) Would I buy from Acme again? Not for a major piece of furniture, but maybe something for a guest room; side table or whatever. Will I continue to purchase from Amazon? Absolutely! Their customer service is the best!! ... show more

Its a very pretty bed but a little noisy and creaky, but i think I will pet some rubber or weatherstripping between the bed boards to stop the noise. And theres a big empty spot at the head of the bed that stuff falls through all the time but we bought a wedge pillow to stop that from happening. Other than those small issues I think it’s one of the coolest things we’ve bought in a long time. It saves lots of space as well considering it has more room that our full size dresser. ... show more

Delivery was the easiest part of this process although I picked and was told my window was 12p-3p and it came at like 7a and I work overnights. The instructions would have been the same had they not provided any at all. Nothing is labeled and the instructions are so unclear and confusing. Everything is labeled in the instructions itself but pieces should have been labeled as well to correspond with them. My husband, myself, my 18y son and occasionally my dad, spent almost 14hrs trying to put this bed together. We had to take a lot of time out to fix things that were broken (luckily we had the knowledge and tools necessary to do so). A couple pieces were warped and impossible to line up properly for fastening bolts. The quality of the pieces and the material, or I should say 'lack thereof also make building this bed a nightmare. The Allen wrench that was provided snapped in two halfway through the build. The marks on the frame that you drill the long thin slats into DO NOT line up. On the title page of the instructions, the bottom right hand corner states that it should only take 20-25 minutes for 2 people to build and install. Even though it's been mere minutes since it was put together, it is very creaky. There is nothing around the borders of the frame to keep your mattress from sliding all over the place and if you are short, you will most definitely be needing a step stool of some sort. This bed is definitely not worth the time, energy & hassle for the price that was paid for it. I also think for the price, installation should have been included ... show more

Nice looking bed. Great storage. Pretty easy to put together. Was able to do it solo, but recommend two people. It came in several boxes, each numbered and labeled so you know what to open first. Only tools needed was an Allen wrench (provided) and a Phillips head screwdriver. Took me a few hours, but I’m slow. Definitely worth the price and assembly time. Drawers could be designed better. Not sure how durable after a few years of use by tweens or teenagers. ... show more

Good looking bed but not worth it for over thousand cost with questionable quality and poor oversight production ! The drawer track bracket attachment on one of the side drawer was repaired and loosely reattached with different screws, the bracket fell off instantly on trying to install the drawer. Don't even have enough hardware in the package, missing screw,washer and even has broken screw. Deserve and expect better value for the purchase, will not buy it again ! ... show more

I gave 3 stars this bed was really had to put together the instructions don’t waste your time! Quality of this bed is ok! The height is where I like it! Value for money I’m in between why I say that is because this bed had missing Allen wrench sockets which meant I had to run to Home Depot and spend more money to buy sockets also had to use wood glue in the sockets if not the bed would’ve fallen. This bed seemed rushed putting together then shipped. Don’t think I will buy again! ... show more

Very well packaged. Easy install. Instructions get a 70-85% if you take your time and combine the instructions with a two part YouTube video we found it Shouldn’t squeak. It’s brand new so ask us how we feel about it later lol. It sits pretty high compared to box frames sitting on the floor but it’s much better to climb up than climb down .
