I’ve been wanting this bed for a couple of years now, and I finally took the leap and got it. I absolutely love it, the pieces are sturdy, and it turned out beautiful. It was fairly easy to put together for the most part. It was missing some of the hardware, and as the directions showed that the pieces were labeled, they were not which made it kind of difficult. Hate it. My 15yr old daughter and I put together, easy enough. Not enough bolts, had to run to hardware store. Cheap crappy particle board. Corner of one drawer damaged in transit, one panel paint separating on all seams. It’s not on any wheels or posts, the whole bottom edge rests on the ground. It’s so heavy it will never be able to be moved. When my daughter leaves for college I will be throwing this in the garbage. ... show more

The bed is for my college freshman daughter for when she is home. We chose it for the storage, having moved to a home with small bedrooms and closets. With a mattress, this bed is really high, but it looks good and our daughter seems pleased. The packaging is not sufficient for the weight and the bed arrived with damaged parts (one was for internal bracing and I drilled and screwed my own repair; the other was a damaged drawer which I could press back together and the cosmetic outer damage isn't visible the way we placed the bed). We just didn't want the headache of a return on such a large and heavy item. Also assembly is a bit of a pain because the parts are not labelled and you have to study the entire instructions to get familiar with what part is needed when. ... show more

This bed frame exceeded my expectations. Lots of storage available. Pictures do not do it justice. I will say it is definitely very elevated so if you are purchasing a mattress with it, go smaller in the height! It looks much more expensive than the actual price is. I bought this product because of it’s unique versatility but now wish I hadn’t. As shown in the attached pictures, it was barely painted in many areas, it came with broken parts, the knob holes were just ripped through the drawer rather then cleanly drilled leaving shreds on the inside of the drawer that needed to be cleaned off for the screws to reach the knob on the other side. The parts were not labeled and many of the holes were not predrilled or marked. The drawers are very stiff on their tracks. The support panel isn’t big enough to cover the base opening so you can see right through to the floor and it’s not even the same color and yes… you can see it and it looks terrible. I have been buying and assembling DIY furniture for decades and have had both good and bad experiences but this piece of junk takes the lead in the worst purchase ever. I’ll never buy this brand or from this company ever again. So sad!! Obviously they are counting on me (and other customers so I read) not returning the item due to shipping costs so shame on me… you win. ... show more
