  • Nice holster it's a winner for me
Size: Right Hand Style: Streamlight TLR 1 & 2 Color: Black
So this is my first wml holster. And for being what is I like it. Many times multi-fit holsters don't really fit all that well. Now I've purchased a few kydex molded holsters in the past and yes the fit was nice, but never one with a light attachment incorporated into the molding. I'm not gonna sit here any more and blow smoke, but this is a pretty nice holster. Once I was able to get the additional attachments into the right spaces things figuratively and literally clicked. The gun stays locked in. There's no wobble. The thumb button and draw feel as natural as any of the previous mentioned kydex molded holsters. If the need ever arose that I needed another holster like this I would definitely buy another one. Oh and don't be deterred if you have a hard time sliding the long attachment into the grooves. It'll get there. ... show more

  • Gets 5 for fitting and working good
Size: Right Hand Style: Streamlight TLR 1 & 2 Color: Black
Now... it's bulky for my Ruger 380 Security but it's not really made for concealment. The gun itself is basically the same size as the Ruger Security 9 Compact. I ain't hiding anyone in this puppy based on the clothes I wear, unless I start wearing trench coats. The bottom of it does look kind of like a weird battery pack or something and not obviously a gun if it's peeking from under your jacket so I guess that's something. And again - never supposed to be a "you can't find the gun hidden on me!" holster was it. That said, the pistol STAYS PUT and the button draw seems easy and intuitive. So that's a good compromise of safety and drawability I think. It feels nice in jeans with the paddle installed. I even had a "low sit" on a very low stoop wearing this and it was still comfortable. Again, it's pretty big but what did I expect when I added a TRL-1? You're gonna want that at night or in your dark house though, aren't ya. So I'm happy with it overall. Just don't expect to surprise anyone that you're strapped up... unless you wear some hella baggy clothes with which you can still reasonably quickly access the gun. ... show more

  • Decent fit for a 1911
Size: Right Hand Style: Streamlight TLR 1 & 2 Color: Black
This holster works much better for a 1911 than it does for other styles of pistols. It's just the nature of the design but the majority of pistols will sit too high in the holster leaving the trigger exposed, but with the 1911 it sits further in the holster protecting the firearm/trigger better. It takes some practice drawing and reholstering to get the motions down, but once learned it holds the firearms relatively secure. I would not recommend this for duty use at all, I have seen some posters state they have used this on duty but I see that as irresponsible. The level of retention offered and the overall security of the holster (1 piece of plastic against the light itself to provide retention) doesn't lend itself as safe to a potential gun grab attempt, or even rolling on the ground in a combative arrest might cause enough twisting pressure on the gun to snap the plastic off that's gripping the light. You can see in my attached photos the way my 1911 fits (Sig 5" emporer scorpion), and refer to other posters photos to compare the depth that the pistol rides in the holster. I originally purchased this for a walther ppx that I own as a simple light bearing holster to use for night shoot practice, and it serves that purpose well. I normally use a safariland 6280 sls with sentry device for my 1911 w/surefire x300u for serious business, but I would use this one for it if I was in a pinch. It's overall versatility is worth the price, and it seems to be rugged and well made. Just understand this is NOT a duty holster, but a great open carry/camping holster. ... show more

  • Quality and security
This holster is incredible. I have gone through many holsters, this one is by far the best one I’ve ever owned. They really thought of everything! Super secure, the design is aesthetically appealing, it’s very functional and adjustable. It’s incredibly versatile and dynamic the draw speed is fluid. The mechanisms fell well made. I have zero complaints! This deserved a review. ... show more

  • Great training holster
Size: Right Hand Style: Surefire X300 Color: Black
For a training holster this is great. Too bulky for EDC. Too much play for a duty holster. I like the controls and it versatility for adapt to any pistol. I have an obscure pistol that’s impossible to find a holster for. I mounted a light on it and this holster works great for it.

  • Just ok fit.
Size: Right Hand Style: Streamlight TLR 1 & 2 Color: Black/Tan
I tried a couple different guns and with every one you are able to reach the trigger while holstered. It fit with a Canik sf mete and Glock 19. It will be fine for the range but sadly not duty worthy. I will mess around with it more to see if I can get a better fit.

  • Does what it’s made to do
Size: Right Hand Style: Streamlight TLR 1 & 2 Color: Black
I don’t know why people purchase this, thinking an OWB “universal” holster is going to be super concealable. The holster has some short comings, but it really should not be getting so many bad reviews. This holster does what it is supposed to do, keep the firearm secure with level I retention and able to fit a multitude of firearms. My only real complaint is I wish the bottom of the holster was opened up more in order to fit competition guns like the Glock 34, Glock 17L, etc. This is the only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. I use it with my Glock 19 for tactical competitions and trainings. It secures the TRL 1 so well that there is no movement of the firearm at all, at the same time, isn’t so tight to wear the finish on the TRL-1. The push button takes some getting used to, but within a day, I was able to draw it very natural with no delay in speed. The button fixes some of the concerns people have with the serpa line holsters. The holster has enough room on the inside to fit most firearms and will even work with suppressor sights. Because of this, you are going to have a little room between the trigger guard and the holster. That’s part of the trade off. All in all, it’s a great holster for what I need it to do. ... show more
