The item arrived on time. It was a heavy box, so my adult son helped me with it. Upon opening the box and pulling out the pieces to the loveseat, we found the fabric around the loveseat was ripped and torn in several areas. The loveseat pieces were wrapped and packed in a thin, protective flexible foam material. The legs and hardware were wrapped in bubble wrap. The item needed to be assembled, which was not a hard job. The good - I can say the red fabric is nice and I like the pop of color from the pillows. But (the bad) as each piece of the loveseat was unwrapped, we saw more and more issues. Although most of the damage was in the fabric areas covered by cushions or underneath, there was also some fabric on the leg of the couch that pulled apart once the leg was screwed into it. Additionally, there were random staples that did not appear to have a purpose nor were they actually stapled all the way into the furniture. I am not a fan of the velcro to attach the back cushions to the couch and am a little frustrated this was not mentioned in the product description. It also feels like the depth of the couch is off - like you should be able to sit further back. I would totally return this couch if it was not such a hassle. The only way I would ever buy this product, knowing it had all these rips and tears and other issues would be at a steep discounted price. I usually have excellent 'luck' ordering online, but this experience is certainly cause for pause the next time I think about ordering a larger item from Amazon. Also, there is no way that I can see to contact the company to tell them about these issues - just posting this review and hoping they see it and try to make things right. ... show more

    • Don't buy if comfort is important to you.

This is not a couch or a sofa for relaxing in. You will always be seated straight and upright. There is no way to slouch into and relax on this seat. The bum cushions sit high and the couch back is low. If you are 5'7" or above, you won't be able to rest your head on the couch. Also, it sits so high that my feet barely touch the floor. Finally, the couch is so shallow, you are pushed forward to the point of falling off the couch. I like a couch that kind of swallows me up. That I can lay on and take naps. This is a seat. Easy enough to assemble. Fabric is NOT a true red, it's a dark wine/burgundy with black mixed in. Quality of manufacturing leaves something to be desired- fabric is stapled to the frame unevenly. This is likely going to be a basement couch since it's NOT living room quality.

Okay, this isn't an expensive high-end sofa, but it is worth the money. Our room where this is situated is on the small side and the size & color match the room perfectly. More importantly, the comfort is inviting. One precautionary note: don't over-tighten the plastic feet as they may split. A "split foot" shouldn't affect the utility of the Loveseat, but be careful.     • Brackets are out of alignment

The brackets on the arm frames seem to be an inch or so out of alignment with the seat frame brackets so it can't be assembled without drilling new holes. It seems as though it would be fine if the pieces fit together.
