Delivered and assembled today by my mom and sister. Some holes don't match / line up so we weren't able to insert all hinges. If anyone knows why, please tell us. Aside from that, it looks pretty sturdy. It's shakey if you move, but no squeaky sounds. The ladder will hurt your feet so buying foam or anything soft to cover the steps with is a must. As per Wayfair website, top bunk can hold up to 300lbs and bottom can hold up to 400lbs compared to other bunk beds that can hold less. We also bought this on sale for $345 instead of the usual $650+ so it's a pretty good steal. ... show more

We really like the style of this bed. A bit disappointing that there is no opportunity to make changes in the configuration, ie the ladder placement. Definitely a pain to make the bed on top.

What a sad purchase. I hate buying such large items and having them break within a year. We have an 11 year old son who uses the top bunk. In less then 6 months, the top wall which is used to prevent rolling off and also a handle to pull yourself up broke. It was hardly welded on and yet was supposed to be used to pull yourself up to the top bunk. Luckily, I found a handyman who added some screws and plates to fix the issue and reinforce the faulty design. Also, the bars used for the stairs are too thin which make it hurt pretty bad to climb. ... show more

We really like these bunkbeds. My girls and I (a woman) put it together in a couple hours. They r 8 and 11 so it was a great for them to learn how to use power tools. I do not like that putting in the rails left scratches. But there was nothing I could do to prevent that. You won't see them anyway. Also the bottom long rail that gives support had one hole that did not line up correctly and also each foot had one hole that did not line up so it is still supported but not held together as strongly as it should be. I still recommend the bunk beds as they r really study and nice. ... show more
