Very sturdy and beautiful frame. It’s exactly as described. The other review i saw said it had screws sticking out. It doesn’t. The bed is set up in the basement with 7 ft ceilings. The kids LOVE their bunk. 6 year old on top, 4 year old in the middle, and two year old on the bottom. A normal twin mattress isn’t wide enough, the two top bunks are twin foam mattress toppers and they fit perfectly. (I’ve had that same issue with every bunk bed I’ve owned) I have already recommended this bunk bed to anyone who has 3 kids sharing a room.     • Huge sturdy and not for people witjout higher ceilings

This bed is huge. If you do not have tall ceilings you do not want this bed. I purchased regular Euro top mattresses for this bed they are way too high causing the guard rails not to be guard rails but more like mattress holders. upon further inspection of the bed description, it says to buy mattresses that are no more than 5 in high. I've decided to keep my mattresses because they're so comfortable but if you're getting this for children I recommend using the 5-inch mattress that they recommend.     • Some hole alignments were way off.

Putting this up by yourself is difficult, but doable. My big complaint is several of the predrilled holes don’t line up making it very difficult to assemble correctly, and make screws tight for correct use. One of the long screws had a flaw in the hex as if it had been stripped, so it was unusable, and A replacement bought. As well as on set of screw holes for the top bunk rail where off so much the holes half over lapped so a drill and hole bit was used to make the holes line up so the screws could go through the leg pipe and into the rail. The tallest ladder was also a pain due to improper alignment. It seems to be sturdy now that it is fully together, and my kids are excited for it. We shall see if it stays that way. ... show more

This is actually a really well built bed with pretty straight forward and easy instructions. It took me and my wife about 2 hours to put together and I'd definitely recommend having some help with this. I've put together several bunk beds and I gotta say this one was one of the easiest to do. I bought this for my 3 girls and they are pretty small so we haven't been able to put it though weight tests at all, but it very easily held myself (240lbs) and my wife (110lbs) on the top two levels. ... show more

This is totally a space saver I purchased a total of 2 for all my kids and very simple to install but I recommend a second hand.... it feels heavy duty and doesn’t make that noise a standard metal bunk bed would make when the kids move Or try to get off ... the only reason why I rated a 4 out of 5 is because both had came a bit bended that support the mattresses and the holes where the screws go weren’t fully open and because it’s metal I had to go buy a metal bit that attaches to my drill to clear the holes. Purchased for guest bedroom for grandchildren. Great design, sleeps three in a small space. Need two people to assemble without headache. Plan to add foam noodles to the steps for cushion. Upper bunk is a little harder to make unless you have two people on stools working together. Overall very happy with purchase! Would recommend this bunk bed. ... show more

I am very happy I chose this bed for my grandchildren's room. It was relatively easy to assemble. I assembled it by myself with the exception of attaching the top bunk.
