Well, I wasn't sure what to expect. I had read all of the reviews, and everybody seemed to find at least one thing that wasn't completely to their liking. When the sofa and loveseat arrived last Saturday, I was completely satisfied.

I love the look of the couch. It's a little firm but that's better then sinking I to it and not being able to get out. It is shorter then advertised and it's darker in color then the picture shows. It's also a different material then is shown but it still goes with all the dark wood in my home. I was worried the loveseat wouldn't match but it does! It got scratched and the fabric is torn on the back side. I'm guessing this was a shipping issue. But it's goes against the wall so I'm not worries about it.

I already had the couch & loveseat, so I didn't really have any other options when it came to purchasing the chair. The entire collection is absolutely beutiful, but like the couch & loveseat (which I bought locally), the chair arrived with minor damage to it. The leather on the left arm rest had defects...looked like ittle scratches. Also, the legs which are packed and stored under the chair during shipping, arrived damaged. It looked like some critter had chewed through the packaging and two of the legs had fallen out of the plastic wrap and were banging against each other during shipping, resulting in nicks and scratches on those two legs. The leather is also not as soft and supple as the leather on the couch/loveseat which makes me wonder if it's really top grain leather. Finally, it's made in China. :( So, I give the chair 2-3 stars. I give the seller 4 stars. They had the 2nd lowest price I could find anywhere on the web. And when I contacted them about the damage, they were very responsive and polite and offered me a reasonable solution to address the issues. I give the delivery company 2 stars. When they first called to schedule the delivery, they told me Fri between 10-2. I told them I have a job and can't just sit around the house for 4 hours waiting for them. So they agreed to 9-10. At 10:30, the delivery guy calls me and says he will be there in half an hour. I told him not to bother because nobody was home any more. They then went silent and never called back to reschedule. My wife had to make multiple calls to reach the right person and reschedule the delivery. That said, when they did show up, they were quite polite and to my surprise brought the chair inside the house and placed it in the entry way even though it was supposed to be curbside delivery.

These are great, solidly built and comfortable. These are available all over the internet and the prices jump around daily. I've seen them as low as $800 and as high as $3,000 for the same unit. I got mine at $800 on Amazon after shopping around for a month, the price has since gone up. Be patient and get it at the right price.

This is the most prominent, regal, breathing piece of furniture I've ever had, a staple piece for sure. I bought it used on Amazon which is why I got such a good price, but it was perfect. I recommend buying this piece, wholeheartedly! It's Huge! So make sure you have enough room before ordering.

I am glad that I didn't let the negative reviews influence my decision to buy this Chaise Lounge. This Chaise is gorgeous and well made. Room enough for me, my wife and two Shitzus. We all just absolutely love it. The buttons have not come off as some stated nor am I afraid of it because it is "thin" and cheap looking. Great lounger. Mine did not come with different colored pillows, all are brown. Would buy it again if I had the room.. It Is HUGE..Thanks
