I got this balaclava because I work outside. Gets pretty cold in the winter so I needed something to keep my face warm. Great coverage for those extra cold days because in addition to keeping my checks and nose warm, it also covers my ears and neck, yet the material is thin enough where it can be layered under a winter hat without stretching it out. I also like that I can opt to pull the fabric up over my nose and it's also designed to be able to pull it down for exposing my mouth without having to remove any gear. a nice, snug fit. I recommend with long hair to tie hair up with a rubbeband before putting on as loose hair can get in the way. Overall I'm pleased with its warmth and glad I have this.

Bought these to keep our faces from being exposed to cold wind while riding on our motorcycle. The fit is ok, the eye area is not a perfect fit for me but I can make it work. If I pull the center up over my nose to where I want it, the corners of my eyes start to get covered. The function as for low temp riding. Used once so far, was in the high 40's. Kept my face from freezing. It will not necessarily keep you warm though. Keeping the wind off your skin is a big help though. Helped a lot keeping the cold air off my neck as well. Happy we purchased.
